Budget Friendly Crossbow? Center Point!
I knew the guy that invented that,he made a ton of cash from Uncle Mike's when they bought it from him.
That awesome! The American dream right there.
Absolutely unhinged to not put the oil on the included brush portion.
That’s the way I’ve always done it seems to work fine.
Yes this is a criminal offense
I like the bore snakes, but I always end up ripping it in the barrel. Guess I need a better quality one.
Maybe I don’t think I’ve ever had one snap.
This is my second season wearing my lacrosse alphaburly pro , one of the plastic buckles just broke off, which brand did you replace your lacrosse rubber hunting boots with? Need some advise , because I am not buying lacrosse boots anymore
This season I am using TideWe boots, they seem to be holding up great and seem like they might last a while. TideWe Boots amzn.to/3BJjG73
Never had a problem with the Lid staying closed my 115 keeps Ice a Long Long Time.
At the time I purchased mine the 115 wasn’t available that’s why I got two 55’s maybe the 115 would function better 😂
I have a 115 for when Electricity goes out here .
Right on!
🤤🤤😤
👊
Noice
Yes, sir!
I've had a 28 for 3 years. It's been great. Just got a 55 packed full of deer now.
Nice!
I just sent pictures of a storm runoff with a log jam in front of it to my local river conservancy. Now, the Rouge river is a maintained urban river system so Someone will do something about it.
We will see it looks like this has been neglected for a while.
All of my deer hunting videos are not fun ones I have yet to harvest one on camera but I do a lot of whitetail habitat scrapes rubs❤ so it doesn't matter if there's kill shots it's all about whether it's good content or not
Nice! I’ll check out your channel.
@bolen_outdoors 💪
We haven't bought a deer home in over 20 years we cut it up in the field
Right on
I ilove mine. Had it 4 years now. Only issues that I have had is i have to replace the scope and replacing the serving every season. I think the nocks are hard on it.
Good to hear other feedback, what happened with the scope?
Have you tried the gutless method?
We eat the organs so I haven’t tried the that.
I always wondered about those
They perform really well and you can’t beat the price.
strangely enough it goes to the other side
😂
Very informative video. I’ve got a deer quartered up in my Lifetime 55 cooler as I type this. It was very disappointing to hear about the lack of warranty support from the company. However, in the attached video ua-cam.com/video/ohPh_PC_2L8/v-deo.htmlsi=y_Lh86rqe996dO5q one of the comments gives a good idea on how to potentially fix the bow in the lid so your cooler can continue to be used.
Thank you I’ll take a look at that!
You’re release is backwards buddy, trigger should point away from your face
Never been a problem before.
Hey man I love the content, I love seeing an older gentleman shooting a bow. Good luck this season.👍🏼
Have a great season too!
The bow is backward. You need to string it the other way. This is very dangerous.
Got it fixed!
“Relocate”
Quote unquote 😀
I have two families of coon that come up on my porch every morning to eat. They don’t bother any of my kittens I have out here. You rightly sure the coons are killing those chicks and it’s not a muskrat or weasel?
Anybody else see the target panic, he recovered good tho, just before his release goes off he flinched, his sight pin settled on the bullseye so nicely that his brain said now!
Thanks!
Rubber tube junk peep 😂
They are awful, I have a peep site ready to go when I get it restrung.
Nice! You carry the energy of a good papaw or great uncle. If things fall apart I would want you in my army to help fight for the children’s future. Some of us are old dogs with blessed hearts and dreams yet we lived cursed lives. I can see at least hundreds of hours dedication to your craft from a few seconds. 🫡🐲
Thanks! I’m just happy anytime I can get outside, you have a good one!
Peep tube feel out
Sure did!
Don’t kill ‘em. What’s nature without beauty strong animals
Where we live, we have an overabundance of deer and that causes problem within the ecosystem for the overall deer health beyond that harvesting several provide a majority of our meat for the year.
I almost won the lottery. I had 1 out of 6 numbers.
Dude, it’s a nine year old with a buck 20 yards from us, if it walked the other direction we would have had a shot. So yeah close call and exciting for him.
Almost let it undraw
Not really.
Broadhead? Wow Bullseye! 🎯
Yes and yes.
I’ve owned a Lifetime cooler for awhile now, have used it all summer and I love it! It holds ice for several days and I sit on it all of the time with no bowing or any damage to the lid. Another benefit is you can drain it with a garden hose which is huge in my book! Also, it costs about 1/4 the cost of a Yeti..
I’m glad yours worked out, there was definitely a lot I wanted to like about these coolers and I would chalk it up to maybe me getting a lemon, but I’m having similar problems with both coolers.
Everyone’s crying at the grip while I’m watching the peep sight pop off after the shot lol.
I believe that was probably just the tube popping off. But the video shifts to quick to definitively tell
It did 😂I already have a peep site for it.
Just bought the lifetime, Don’t regret it after seeing this Video.. I’m gonna make sure not to have anyone sit on it. I’d rather buy American. America!
Right on!
I just came back from a trip in AZ and several of my friends were boasting about Lifetime. I considered buying one but this video is really helping with my decision. I’m looking for longevity, and thanks to this review it’s helping with my decision. Yeti it is . Thanks bro
I’m glad this video could help out!
Nice shot but you gotta try and get real anchor points
My anchor is my knuckle on the back of my jaw.
Any updates ? Still good ?
I posted on a short, but yeah I shot at 25 yards and it was on the money.
What broadhead is that
Crimson Talon Croc 150gr korekut.com
Flinched. This is what happens when you are not using your back muscles
Half way through sequence had to make sure he had it yanked back, elbow looks extended also!
Thanks for the advice!
What's the use of an overdrawn X having 6" of too long Arrow length? Length = weight & speed loss, < penetration. Work on that set up!
It’s never had any problems dropping deer.
They have practice arrow tips that are the same weight as broad heads so you don’t waste broad heads and destroy your block practicing.
In my experience, the weighted practice tips shoot differently than the broadheads. I would rather train myself for the exact thing I’ll be using in the field.
Gripping causes torque and you got no consistant anchor point. Use your nose. Or the corner of your mouth. Looks like you draw length is too long. Thats why its past your mouth
Thanks for the advice!
Have you tried any other bolts besides the tru x that bear says you have to use ?
I have not, I think a normal bolt would work, but with all the warnings they have in the packaging and on the crossbow I wouldn’t want liability if something went wrong.
Thanks for the reply I’ll just buy the tru x bolts to be safe lol
Why you using Broadhead?
In my experience, the target tips fly a little bit different than a heavy fixed blade, I always take one of the fixed blades out of the pack and that one becomes my target tip.
String on the tip of your nose. You shouldn't have to bend your head like that to look through the peep
Thanks for the advice!
TideWe Boots bit.ly/4efx1SK
Broad tip... REALLY BRO
Try it
Grip the bow a lot less
Thanks for the advice!
why a broad head
I always have one broadhead I use for target practice I just wanna make sure everything flies exactly the same in the field as it does during practice. Beyond that these broadheads hold edge incredibly well and are very easy to sharpen if I needed one in a pinch.
That was a great shot
🤙
I’m an archery tech and an archery coach and through the years I have learned that someone that shoots as well as you and the bow is not set up just right well you just have a lot of potential, and I know it’s hard sometimes to change things up because you are used to it. I do see a couple minor things that could really help you out and when I say help you I mean when you are in the woods and get in a situation it will help you get the job done and I’m not saying you won’t anyway but it will make it easier for you and I can explain it in detail but only if you want me too, but it’s up to you but I will say keep up the great work and I hope you get a giant on the ground
@@bolen_outdoors and please don’t take any offense I just love working with hunters and I just see you have a lot of potential
No offense taken, I appreciate any practical pointers.
@@bolen_outdoors I noticed severe creep that is why it feels like the string is going to jump because the cam is closer to the beginning of the letoff side when you relax a little bit so taking some draw length out would help this because it will put you tight in the wall , I noticed that the release is turned so that the trigger is at your cheek and it makes it bad if you get a severe creep that thing could go off by accident, I see you are leaning your head over to be able to see through the peep this can be uncomfortable in some situations but that indicates an issue in anchor point but the trick is to get that string away from the side of your face because you can actually torque the string with your face and it can make your peep sight seem huge . When your draw length is over extended it forces your bow arm to concentrate on your stabilizer muscles around your rotator cup and not your large muscles in your arm and those little muscles just don’t have the endurance that large muscles do and the farther out your bow is the more leverage the bow weight will have against your shoulder just like a torque wrench effect on a bolt which will cause you to fatigue faster or get an injury faster in your shoulder and for some with already bad shoulders this is a real problem, your grip is an issue if you torque “if” you torque some people can hold a bow and not torque but not seeing you shoot in person I can’t tell you how severe it is but you will notice a right to left accuracy issues if you are and sometimes gloves can magnify this if they are not made of grippy material but the ideal grip is to let the grip rest in a part of your hand in which you can not effect the bow as much when you change position of your wrist or if your hand may grip or slip around different I have had people that could not adjust the sight enough to get to center but that is in an extreme situation and if the bow is set down for a few weeks or days and they forget the feeling they had trained there self to they might shoot very differently, also if you shoot a draw length in a shorter way it gives you more room for heavier clothing in the winter and when you release the arrow the bow will naturally move towards the target instead of to the left or right side or down sometimes even up . I hope some of this helps and like I said I really enjoy Archery and helping people improve their confidence and shot and a lot of times a person just can’t see what is going on or understand what is going on and if you do change anything have someone take pictures from behind and the sides and compare as you adjust so you can get an idea of what is actually happening when you make an adjustment. I hope this helps you and if you need anything feel free to reach out oh and Tune Tune and then Tune again
I think my friends broke my compound bow twice because of that tight grip, at least that’s the only thing I saw different from their form from mine
Thanks for the advice!
