I grew up in Marietta!

I visited Marietta in June 2024. I can see exactly where I parked at the waterfront. Hard to believe that's only 8 weeks ago.

Oh my. So sorry this happened. When I first saw the headline I thought Marietta, Pennsylvania which lies on the Susquehanna River and often floods at too much rain. Prayers for you guys in Ohio. 🙏

Anyone know if saltfork Cambridge area flooded?

I live just below wheeling a couple of miles on the Ohio side. I did not get it but it was very close. It's nice to be close to river when it's nice out since it so much cleaner than when I grew up. WE have major clean ups all the time until they built the Hannibal Dam. Not so much now. They can regulate the flow much better now. It was very close this time. Last time was when hurican Ivan came up here and sat and went around in circles for like 10 daya straight just dumping rain. It wouldn't move. Just in a very slow circle over a good radius. Clean up sucks

Nathan, Excellent job former student! I'm in the Condos and a friend sent me this. You should do another today with the date and water level again because the water's even higher. The videos can be used to determine benchmarks for flooding for planning! Mrs. Cavalier
