Wow is all I can say. That property looks so different and beautiful. Those flocks of birds were straight out of a horror movie. I’ve only seen that many birds at Jack Miners bird sanctuary in Michigan where the geese migrate for the winter. I’m excited to see more videos from your family. You all work so well together.😊🇨🇦

The owner was saving the cartons for a rainy day. Thanks for helping the owner clean up his/her garage. It becomes a overwhelming burden once the trash is pile high. "After the storm, comes the calm". The music could be toned down.

Why tear the furniture up,surely somebody could use it.not every goodwill is overrun.
It was nasty and we needed to save space. Also bed bugs are in the house.
Do you throw away/ smash up any antiques or valuables? Just curious.
This job has a tendency to lead to hoarding of things you think is valuable, but never get around to selling or using. About the only thing I keep is cleaning supplies we use on jobs. Obviously if we found money we would keep that.

I think some of that stuff should have been donated and not all thrashed
While donating sounds good, donating is very expensive for us. Donating costs extra trips, extra sorting, extra clean up and would cost me hundreds of dollars on an average clean out. Last but not least our customer requires us to provide dump receipts to keep us honest.
I would like to know more about the house , any idea how big it is? I'm interested in building something like this myself. What about a bathroom? . I had to do the same thing with my mom's house, the house I called home all my life. Most of the things were old and worn out but still a house full of mostly good memories.
The bathroom was between the 2nd room in and the kitchen, it was very tiny.
If you look at 18:06, you can see the door to the bathroom in the little hall between the second room, and the kitchen. It was very tiny.
It’s maybe 600 sq ft. 1 bedroom. It’s what they called a shotgun house, because you could shoot a shotgun from the front of the house to the back.
Why smash so much that was still in OK condition such as furniture pieces. I hate to see it fill the landfill when some of it could have been used or repurposed.
Smashing was for space saving. We don’t usually smash it.
