We bought a car in Bangkok, Thailand
Together with my Son, Earl, his Partner in crime, Corina and my granddaughter Asia we hooked up with my Sister in Law's Sister's Used Car business in Bangkok and drove off in a ripper Honda CRV. Pat made us feel right at home and went out of her way to ensure the car was good for at least another 100 thousand kilometres. Pat is located in Bangna, Bangkok. If you require her details please drop us a line in the comments section. Pat's Cars are heavily scrutinised for any issues before she puts them on the market.
On this trip, we make our way from Bang Na Bangkok to Singburi en route to Burrirum, Thailand. We stumbled upon a Vegan restaurant gem with 100% Vegan.

    Here in California, I usually get my drinking water from the water vending machines. The US has strict laws regarding how often the filters are changed but does Thailand regulate water vending machines? I would only buy from new and clean machines like the one in this video.

    We get our water delivered each week here on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, generally 3 or 4 large bottles (I think they are 18 litres) each week and a crate of 24 litre bottles maybe every second week. Costs on average about 80 to 100 baht a week. And the water bill for tap water is around 150-200 baht a month. Not bad for a family of four!

    • @CaffeineJogger
      @CaffeineJogger 2 місяці тому

      Correct William. Drinking out of the bottle or not it’s always best to avoid touching the dispenser. Interestingly though we never point out same applies to kissing. Kissing offers many health benefits, but may also transmit a small number of disease-causing bacteria and viruses. Bacteria and viruses in the saliva or blood of one person can be spread to another person by kissing. Some diseases are more easily spread than others. I don’t however advise to stop kissing. As for this Video? The bottle was clean and sanitary and best as you suggested to always avoid touching the dispenser. Contamination of food from objects, people, pests or chemicals can cause serious illness. Restaurants, markets. Street foods, care must be taken to avoid cross contamination. All noted and thank you.

    Brilliant Vlog on something fantastic that Thailand has done for it’s population 👍🏻☺️ Summary - Add fresh Lime Juice to any R.O water you drink, keep it stored in Glass not Plastic and as others have said, check that the R.O machine is being cleaned 👍🏻☺️ R.O (Reverse Osmosis) Water is fantastic and for me its amazing its available almost everywhere in Thailand via these machines now 🙏🏻☺️ There are some slight issues with it though that I think people should be aware of… 1. R.O water is almost as purely filtered as Distilled water is. The issue is that Water should have some minerals inside it and should ideally be structured too So - adding some fresh Lime Juice, electrolyte minerals, coconut sugar or honey to it is brilliant, to stop it having any negative effect on the mineral level in your body over time… …and a bonus of fresh Lime Juice is that it will help to structure the water too, this will all really help with hydration 👍🏻☺️ 2. Use Glass as much as possible to keep R.O water in as it can easily leach the plastic out from the bottle into itself, which is not good obvious reasons! Well done Thailand on providing a source of excellent Water so cheaply for it’s people and savvy tourists 🙏🏻☺️ …which also helps keep plastic out of the environment too.!!

    It's not exactly the same thing at all and those machines are not serviced that regular and i've seen those machine start leaking when the filters expanded due to non service and then break the RO filter wall. The water is dead water Reverse osmosis (RO) (filtered) even with a PPM it will show you results of 0.01 or something there is nothing in it. Anyone who knows anything about decent water will show you how things grow heather in what water depending on what elements that water is carrying. Wait till you see the actual pipes after a year of use in that machine AFTER the RO is done, they will be brown with gunk / sediment that smells slightly too. Maybe do a bit more research to in your next videos on this. Good luck

    last year I was in Chiang Mai, I got water from a machine like this too. but then I heard people's comment, saying that they never saw once that these machines' filter got replaced. I don't know whether it's true or not, but, I must say I won't be surprised if such a machine's filter is left not replaced for a long time...... however, even with the doubt of the filter, the price difference is still very attractive. and it saves a lot waste of plastic bottles.
