I got to page 200 before I couldn’t keep going, the FMC was too much for me. Didn’t like Caspen at all, thought he was manipulate and shady. Loved Leo tho, I wish that he got her instead of Caspen.

I just DNF Fear the Flames and now I feel vindicated. The dialogue is so cringe and there's zero world building.

i'm a huge fan of ve schwab, especially the shades of magic universe. ironically, because of what you said, the second book is my favourite, then the third and then the first. i absolutely adore the characters and relationships in these books. definitely recommend.

Omg Fear the Flames was absolutely NOT giving for me I had to DNF it. I couldn't get myself to really care for the characters like at all.

The second darker shade of magic is a tournament. I highly recommend that whole series.

The sequel to The Will of the many is called The Strength of the few and is not out yet, I’m not sure when, but is going to be next year. I’ve heard that the first 3 books of the Zodiac Academy are the bad ones and the last books of the series are everyone’s favorites, even though they’re heart breaking books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was so fun! I love The Cruel Prince series so I hope you enjoy it too :)) Jude is loved for good reason -- she is very cut throat. And the book is heavily plot driven but the war plot line was very entertaining to me -- it just gets better as the books go on (slight sidenote: you legit remind me of Sydney Sweeney <3)
