I am dealing in this model. These are old stocks,all in new condition, full working. The model you see may had been renamed by the brand from OEM. Punwire is Indian brand but this radio is similar to Dirland 3303 and seems to be made by HWA YUNG HYGEN Brand ! I am from Kolkata, India. I am dealer for wireless communication equipments here.

In Indian market I used to deal around Rs.1,30,000 and it was brand new. Now there isn't any more with me. Now I have few handheld communication receiver like Alinco DJX11E, Icom IC-R10. What is your location please, mine is Kolkata, India. Second hand used ones not available. I can get new ones only. I can get anything from present day production models from Icom,Yaesu, Alinco only.

I had known these as dynamic mic , first time heard it to be xtal element !

I had used this radio long time back, had programmed all modes for each band separately, I remember it took 2 days time ! Though it is a good radio but not worth for one looking for as a general radio features in ham radio or as a radio which can be controlled from front panel. As tactical radio it is good enough. But the body construction is not tough as other tactical radios are. May be it has non standard voltage, may be to stop it being used easily by unauthorized user. If one has technical knowledge, can easily modify it for communication purpose. I did modified it's input power using a 15volt external DC source. And was able to change modes for each frequency bands by reprogramming it.

@@hamradio_VU2SYD 🙏Of the three switches on front panel, first one was programmed for H/L Power. 2nd switch was used to .... Switch between memory/VFO mode (Short Press).... & transfer frequency in memory to VFO (long press)... In VFO mod.... frequency step was 100Hz.... Pressing encoder changed the step to 5KHz... Sadly it is not possible to change mode from front panel, so same frequency was programmed repeatedly with different modes (CW, LSB, USB). AM mode is supported but never used on HF. It helped in covering the whole 1.6~30 MHz spectrum by using memory channels spaced 50KHz or 100 KHz apart. This scheme utilising Memory channels, VFO mode covered the whole Shortwave Band. In memory mode, encoder push button changes Squelch setting, Squelch doesn't have much relevance in HF. 3rd switch used for Antenna Tuning by internal ATU. I may still have some (Tested 🆗) modules for these radios. MAIN RF BOARD is tuned & calibrated individually, then whole radio needs programming of alignment parameters after assembly. Turned out to be very time consuming but still enjoyable 👍🙏

@PiggyBanks-d2y I had programmed the frequency in 1mhz steps for LSB,USB,AM,CW...so for 7mhz there were 4 memories ch,7LSB,7USB,7,CW,7AM and so on for all! And additionally I did this for most regular and popular frequencies I found mostly people communicate. Yes I knew how to move to VFO from any ch memory. ATU was very effective too with small length random antennas.

I don't have 410 so can't compare with Max 10. Max 10 is an excellent meter. Fluke is a good one. And brands like Meco,Metravi, Uni-t has many multimeters those are as good as Fluke. I am very comfortable with any standard meter,not necessary it has to be a Fluke. I always look into meter inside construction and compare few parameters with my trusted meters before relying on a new purchase. I find most of Metravi, Uni-t, Rishabh and few others I have are too good .Rishabh 13S I love its inside built and rugged looks. Equally same I feel for Uni-t UT195E and CEM DT9927T. My all time LCR favorite is Caddo 9304.

Pehle to Rishabh RISH Max 10 ek multimeter hey LCR nehi. Sirf LCR meter inductor ko measure karta hey. Fluke 101 nehi hey mere pass .so Rishabh ko compare karna possible nehi. Budget Agar Rs.2500 ke aaspaas hey to mey apko Metravi 19 series ka meter recommend karuga. Aur LCR k liye mey Caddo 9304 recommend karta hu,but ye kaafi expensive hota hey. Aap sirf Rs.1000 ka budget mey ek component Tester le kar use kijiye as LCR meter. Ye apke liye best hoga. Ab kuch China brand bhi Acha meter Bana raha hey. Jeysa FNIRSI DMT-99, ya Sunshine Relife DT01, etc,ye sab accurate bhi hey.

The 19 series are so far best and reasonable priced. The old 19 series only has 30 mhz but new 19-SUPER model has reduced to 10MHz only. There are certain Uni-t models that has even 400MHz ! 400! Nowadays many meters has 10MHz as standard but higher ones are selected few only. If you need i can arrange 30 and 400mhz ones.

@@hamradio_VU2SYD Thanks for your good information, appreciate all, I have a UNI T UT61E 220 MHZ multimeter. Beyond certain frequency range they require greater Rf input voltage to count that frequency. Requires a VHF UHF amp module. I have this module in hand in case required.

There is a digital multimeter, which I prefer a lot,it is Metravi 19,it may not have everything, but 19 series meters are being made by Metravi for a long time,they I believe had updated the outer design many times,I had used a variety of 19 series of multimeters. I happen to have 3 different of the 19 series, like 19,another 19 with added NCV,and the third is called 19 Super. Another Meter which I like a lot,it is RISH multi 13S.Simply love ❤️ this one. It has locking features blocking banana ports which are not supposed to be used! It is Indian make,but looking at circuit makes me guess it can be German make may be,some tie up. Hi This is TX antenna for frequencies 95-1100 mhz and equally RX for same frequencies and also as random length antenna it is good as HF frequency RX antenna. But it can't be used as TX for HF band!only RX with compromise of reception sensitivity! But still worth having it for sake of portability.

Hi These radios are programmed by someone else. Though I have programming cable with me but don't do programming myself. But you can get the software online free download.

Icom IC703 has internal tuner. But you can use external antenna tuner too. So I was trying out the AH4 here. The Icom IC703 + Radio model has option of using either built-in ATU or external ATU.when an external ATU is plugged in,the radio gets to sense this and hence external tuner is activated by radio bypassing the internal tuner.

HI, I Used to deal in DRB185 vhf base long back. Nice radio. As it is in VFO mode,you can build a back to back repeater with this model using 2 such radio, one as transmitter radio and second one as receiver radio. This will give you repeater system on same frequency with some shift in RX TX frequency. I think you may want to use it as repeater,the first answer with one radio it is impossible to Work as conventional repeater. Simply you need to have 2 radios of same brand model or different will also do. But there are some devices available top,these device will let you use any radio as parrot repeater. You need to connect these parrot repeater control box to your radio, when someone speakes, the unit will record the voice and then feed to radio audio in circuit and Trigger ptt to play it back! One annoying thing is that the operator who last transmitted hears his her own voice again and then after playback is completed then you get chance to speak.so here in parrot repeater certain disadvantages are there but it really makes one radio repeater on any simplex frequency.

@@hamradio_VU2SYD Thank's for the comment. for an hobbyist who work couples of hours it's fine, but not for production work, as for the brand I checked the chinese maker, and it's all the same circuit / parts. they just change the color or molded plastic handle. I wonder how much return they get, since they still sell all the standard soldering station.

@JBERGALIEN I am dealing in Takumi soldering iron which ranges from 8watt model to 150 watt and these I can assure you are rugged built having quality and lasts longer. I am myself using a 60watt Takumi for last 3 years and still I find the bit head intact. It is my primary soldering iron. Takumi comes in 30,40,60,80,100,150-watt soldering iron & 8watt USB type. All too good and rugged.
