The Air That We Breathe, Pentecost Sunday 2024
Thank you Connie! It's good to hear from you, I'm glad we're connected in this way. I'll let Jamie and Donna know
It is 8:29 Nova Scotia time. I always enjoy hearing Jamie and Donna read the Scriptures. They do an excellent job. And Wanda always gives me something to think about and I like the humour she delivers with it. I feel close to my other home 🏠 whenever I listen in. Love you all.
The Lord put on my heart this week the word Maglite. I was doing other things and all of a sudden the word came to my mind. I constantly seek the truth and see things that are indescribable Revelations. Now I always listen 👂 when subtle messages not knowing why it's in my thought . Now why was Maglite placed in my head because the root stems from Magi. In relation to knowing the signs during the times we are living in. To keep our lamps lit and full. All the stars are aligning perfectly. We are so close and no one around me sees it. Signs in the Sun, Moon and Stars! Stay Blessed!
There never was an ark OR a worldwide flood. The Genesis Flood story contains many literary clues that its writers (and original audience) were not intended to narrate an actual series of events. The story employs the literary device known as “hyperbole” throughout, describing a massive ark which holds representatives of “every living creature on Earth”, and a flood which flows over the tops of the highest mountains in the world. These are not meant to challenge readers to figure out the practicality of such descriptions, but rather they are important clues that we are dealing with a theological story rather than ancient journalism.
I agree. I thought I was making that point.
Thank you so much for your videos! I am currently a M.Div student at Wake Forest University, and I was hoping that we could have some dialogue surrounding your message on "Foxes and Hens" (Luke 13:31-35) if you are able!
Thank you Wanda!
