Welcome to my new channel! I plan to present digital watch related stuff, if theres anything you want to see let me know!
smart ⌚
Nice! Keep making videos!
Thank you, I will!
Why don't they make these anymore??
Yeah I would immediately buy one. But I guess back then it was very expensive and unreliable and today everyone just wants smartwatches..
Because nowadays it's practically useless to make digital watches like this, full of features. A smartphone and a smartwatch are much more practical for such functions, but I'm also nostalgic.
I had no idea Casio produced watches like that. It looks amazing and in 80' it sure was a nice piece of technology. May I know how much did it cost?
You mean the original price back in 84 or what I paid for it?
@@el_Nanok Both, if you can provide such information.
@@Mati1242 Sadly I didn't find anything about the original pricing, I got this specific one for 40€ on a local site
@@el_Nanok 40 EUR is a bargain considering how classic and unique this watch is.
@@Mati1242 Yeah right? Im glad I found it
interesting watch....simillar to AQ series, but smarter :)
good luck with your channel!
Yeah, it's quite similar to some Casio AQs, although I think the AQ series is a bit more stylish. I love the look of the AQ-321, hope to get one of those someday!
@@cj80gdi Thanks! I wish you good luck as well!
Man, I hope to have one of these some day. I just find the whole concept of them so unique and cool. My search has been unsuccessful so far, but I hope something turns up in future.
Yeah, good luck! There are a few on ebay, but I would recommend checking local sites as well as japanese sites
I have the same watch and still in working condition
WOW! REALLY AHEAD OF ITS TIME. Amazing piece of technology in 1984!
What a cool piece of tech
Wow that's so rare, it's amazing that you own this
Thanks! I had a look at your channel, I enjoy your content, keep it up!
HEY NANOK , HOW IS THAT GOING ! , WHAT A COOL CASIO DATA BANK TELEMEMO 50 AND CALCULATOR , CHROME BOX , STEEL STRAP , I IMAGINE... , TOUCH SCREEN , A WHOLE CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY OF THE TIME... THANKS TO THOSE JAPANESE TECHNOLOGIES , EVERYONE HAS BEEN INSPIRED BRANDS ARE TO INTRODUCE THOSE TECHNOLOGICAL IDEAS INTO TODAY'S MOBILE TERMINALS . I LIKE YOUR CHANNEL . WELL DONE 👍 GREETINGS NANOK ! . 📟🙋🏻♂️
Hi Yerko! Happy to see you back. I share your fascination, the technology is really incredible, right? Glad that you enjoy my channel and thanks for your support! Have a great day 🤩
Indeed very rare watch. Great that you found one in good shape
Thanks! I hope it will withstand the test of time
How much is it?
It's one watch
What is this
A Casio EDB-600 :D
You brought me back 30 years, nice watch
Happy to hear that, did you have one of those back then?
@@el_Nanok My friend has one of them, I had casio F-16 , F-18 and F91 the very simple ones at the early 90's
@@bmw320540750 Nice, I love the look of the F-16
Excellent design, This watch is very rare
HELLO , I AM A COLLECTOR OF WATCHES , RETRO DIGITALS AND OTHERS . YOU CAN BARELY HEAR YOU IN THE VIDEO . GREETINGS .
Hi, yeah you're right, this was my first video and the audio is quite bad. I fixed it in my newer videos but I should probably reupload this one. Have you been able to understand me nonetheless?
@@el_Nanok HELLO , I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION ABOUT BEING WITHOUT CURRENCY . I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR ENGLISH LEVEL IS . I HAVE HALF UNDERSTOOD YOU. WELL , NANOK , I'LL BE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS . ALL THE BEST .
@@yerkodiegoborjakvessitchva2183 You're welcome! My english is not perfect but thanks for your support. If there's any watch you want to see let me know!
@@el_Nanok OK , SO I WILL DO IT . ALTHOUGH I LIKE RETRO DIGITALS , WHETHER THEY ARE FROM CASIO , CITIZEN , SEIKO , ( WHICH BY THE WAY IN JAPANESE MEANS PRECISION ) , TIMEX, AND OTHER COMPANIES , LIKE TISSOT , BULOVA , OMEGA, ETC...; FINALLY , NOW THE MOST FASHIONABLE ARE THE JAPANESE RETROS FROM THE 80'S AND 90'S . CASIO HAS A VERY HIGH RANGE , BOTH MECHANICAL AND DIGITAL . THE F RANGE FROM CASIO OR THE A RANGE FROM SEIKO , FOR EXAMPLE...; TAKE CARE YOURSELF ! .
@@yerkodiegoborjakvessitchva2183 That's cool, I love the 80s and 90s watches as well, hope to get my hands on some Seiko A-range watches soon. Cheers!
Nice thumbnail bro
Thank! Took a while to get it right..
Gorgeous watch.
I have the same watch. There is no battery inside - but also no information, which battery type there must be in. So please give me the type of battery, this watch need. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have an AG8/LR1120 fitted, AG10/LR1130 might work as well although that could turn out too thick
@@el_Nanok Thank you, I have ordered this batteries.
@@sh59173 You're welcome! Good luck with your watch
I wish this one, including the EDB-610, gotten reissued now. Though I feared what the reissued variant might missed some features like what happened to the DBC-611.
Yeah the DBC-611 is really a sad story. But since Casio is reissuing so many vintage watches these times maybe well be lucky with the EDB...
Thank you for documenting this watch and it's functions. There aren't enough of these on the internet.
