We make animated films to share real experiences of medical and health issues.
We collaborate with healthcare professionals, NHS and Charity partners and with people with lived experience to create authentic, memorable and meaningful animated films to promote wellbeing and increase understanding of health-based issues and medical processes.
We draw on participant research to tell authentic stories through the voices of people and patients. By sharing what it is to experience a particular condition or hospital procedure, we aim to help people to better understand health issues, reduce health-related anxiety, shame and stigma, to start conversations and to help others feel less alone.
Our films provide a sense of hope and agency, signpost to sources of support, helping people to better manage their own health and wellbeing.
ForMed Films CIC are a not for profit/community interest company who make high-quality, award winning films for social good.

Labor
Hello Angel - we are in the UK, where we spell labor with a u (labour). Hope you liked the film
I loved this film! The voices of the women created a real sense of authenticity, it was informative and the sense of positivity and the message that you’re not alone is so important.
Thank you Suzanne! Please visit the website www.cycleofchange.org to hear more interviews and hear more about the project and about menopause
Thank you for sharing these stories.
Thank you. They are important to share, we hope they help people to feel less alone, start conversations and look for support
We were looking for videos suitable for children to understand physiologic birth and this is so perfect! Not only beautiful but a diversity of people and birth places. Thank you!
So glad it is helpful. Please do watch our film ‘Mother of Many’ also - another birth film and celebration of midwifery and childbirth

Wow
A wonderful video which brilliantly highlights the challenges as well as the wide range of support available including in my view most importantly talking about it - thank you ❤
I'm really struggling with this
Sorry to hear this. It is much more common that people expect, finding support is the best advice we can give. Try Googling: support + perinatal mental health + anxiety + [name of your city/county] or dad/mum + mental health + [name of your city/county]. If you are in the UK, our website shares a lot of support networks on this page perinatalpositivity.org/support/.

emotionally beautiful
This is so so beautiful. Thank you so much to all who made this <3
This a fabulous resource for ALL, across generations and genders. Empathetic with great storytelling portraying what it's like to work in the shoes of someone experiencing menopause. I have embedded it into my corporate slide deck. It's a must-watch for all.
Thank you so much June
Thanks for making me feel like I’m not so alone, I NEVER knew anything about menopausal or peri symptoms at all until it hit me at 47 and I’m now past the peri phase and can feel myself going downhill again, I am on h.r.t too but like it’s said in the video, it doesn’t take away all the crazy symptoms and I just wish I’d have known more & been educated about it more as it’s had a major impact on my mental health, and I think it should definitely be something to educate women on prior to it happening, as I had such a shock.. Educational videos like this are a great idea, ❤💪 stay strong ladies..
Same here. I agree that educating yourself is key.

This video made me cry - but made me feel seen and heard and not so alone. Thank you for sharing!
This is the most wonderful resource for people to get a sense of just what the menopause transition is like - its a unique experience that no-one can plan for- the best you can hope is to understand how to help yourself in each unique phase. Thankyou doesn't go far enough - I know this will help so many be much more knowledgeable - in and out of the workplace too. Well done to everyone involved.
