Breakin in the new sled in the UP early 2017-18 season ride
Was wondering if you still had this sled, and how it has held up?
I really miss riding everyone i riding with is all in heaven God bless them all 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That sled is a BEAST!!! No man you're a beast!!!
Do you ride DeRuyter. great trails and casanova
Winter is the best time of year
I wish people wouldn't play gay music
Great video! I just snowchecked an 850 XCR and haven't ridden in 5 years.
Wow - this sled is a missle! Amazing how quick it accelerates. Super video!
Hey! Great video! What year is your XCR and is your machine a 600, 800, or 850?
2018 800cc
1:04 Haven't heard the T Hip in many years. Nice to hear again! Southerners look at you like you have three heads on your shoulders when you ask if they ever heard of T Hip. Northern Vt. Born and raised, but moved to Fl. Now I'm considered a half back, Indiana.
Either your not used to the machine or you just shouldn't have bought that machine because your only quick in a straight line. You gotta learn to trust it. My 07 iq 600 always impressed me on how well it'd handle, but I had to be doing 60 mph + for it to handle good. This machine is on a whole different level. It will handle anything you throw at it. Dont be afraid to throw it into those corners in the woods! That's where the fun is.
It was the second ride on the new sled- and never had anything longer than a 121” track before. So yeah, I wasn’t pushing it in the woods. It pushed pretty bad in corners until I got the suspension dialed in and took the stock carbides off. Thanks for watching 🍻👍
Just try to hold your line on either a left or right hand turn, there’s guys like me out there hauling the mail but only when i can read the trail one turn ahead in the woods, it’s a shocker when you come heavy around a turn and a guy on a ski doo is one my side of the trail then locks up the brake and now takes up the entire trail, not good. Got to be smart and ride at your pace so everyone goes home
Sweet trails
What's on this for an exhaust ?
At around 1:30 there is a squeal coming from your sled, My new polaris titan also has a very similar noise. Pretty sure it has to do with the clutch/belt but haven't rode it enough to figure it out or see if it goes away. Any idea what was causing that sound for you?
Yes- my secondary adjuster had loosened and backed out so the clutch was squeezing (tools were at the trailer)
@@snomofilms Thank you, I will have to look into that
Out for some THROTTLE THERAPY!!!! Awesome 😎 Video’
That is one kick ass sled! I just purchased the same one......brand new 2017 left over! Can't wait. Your video is awesome. I live right in the same area......Bradford!
were do you have the camera? what kind? I just picked up a leftover 18 600 XCR switchback. after watching this my anticipation level is complete maxed! thanks for great video
art kreutzer I mount it under my visor (Mx style helmet/goggles setup.) it’s just an older GoPro hero 4.
Sweet vid. Thanks for sharing. WNYer here myself (south towns)
Kyle Schneider nice, this video was shot in Holland and surrounding towns.
Western NY? Where exactly you at?? I'm about as western NY as you can be. Cool video though!
460 S&W Holland
How plush is the ride on this ? Also have you done any jumping with it ?
Charles Palmer II the XCR is setup for aggressive riding/racing so it’s not as plush as say the Indy XC, but you can dial down the compression on the shocks and get it to ride alright... lots of adjustability. Landings on jumps feel like landing on a pillow, it’s silly.
Think that ice fishermen shit himself 👍
What lugs on the Assault? I’ve got one with cobra track. It has higher top end than my buddies, who has the one with 2” lugs. This year we’ve at least2 foot of snow. The 2’ lugs are better in the deep stuff
Fingal both sleds have the 1.325 cobra track. The assault is a little faster on the big end due to the skid design. Assault definitely should have a taller lug like 1.6 or even 2”. Does the 2” track give up any on trail performance compared to your cobra track?
I’m not sure if it does. There is a lot of snow up here this year its about 90% off trail. Even the trails keep getting new snow. I think the 1.6 is likely the right one
Dude you had me when I heard Hip and kept me with the machine.
Me too !
Love the song
Man i miss snowmobiling
Nice video I am in Whitney point ny in between Binghamton and Syracuse ny
кочку словиш и все...
снежик то греется и какой смысл топить в прямую
Looks like the UP on trail 3 before you turned on the bridge
Wicked video. You can't live any closer to groomed trails than that unless the went through your front yard lol How do you like the XCR? Looks like it rides mint....no darting..nothing
clifford5572 rides great- handles the biggest whoops easily, jumps and lands well, no darting but I did shim the skis which is normal to do for Any Polaris
NICE VIDEO, DO YOU HAVE A CAN ON THAT THING, IF SO WHAT KIND?
Ryan Christopher Thanks! It’s got a BMP Full Velocity can on it. Sounds stock at idle but sounds great when the power valves fully open.
Let r rip sounds great..
How is the fuel millage on this beast?
B Breckner about 12-14mpg. Honestly it doesn’t matter, just hammer down and refill when needed ;)
until you run out on the trail, lol! How do you like the sled so far? Pros, cons?
I really want one of these things! But the price of it and the snow amount that we have is kinda turning me away, lol. How is the power on this thing? And are there any major problems you have had with it?
