Here you can see videos from my dives around the world. Most of them are with my buddy and husband Per. We are experienced divers (CMAS3*) who are looking for great experiences of nature and life under water and a good dive on a beatiful wreck. We dive both cold and warm water and very much enjoy the diversity of the different types of water and locations.
We live in Denmark and are members of NIKON Diving Club south of Copenhagen. When not travelling to dive around the world we dive our local Nordic waters in Denmark and at the south coast of Sweden.

The Sense of Control
It is universal for all of us that we need to have a sense of control over our own bodies and lives. But some lose this in whole or in part for various reasons.
This little film is about losing control and trying to regain it. To regain the sense of control.

A small documentary about my daughter who developed epilepsy in high school a...
Walls of Life - Sundstraumen - Saltstraumen - Norway
Saltstraumen has a unique richness of underwater life due to the strong currents caused by the tides. Sundstraumen is the narrowest of the straits around Saltstraumen and here you can really see the abundance of life everywhere. Diving here you can only do by boat, and you should go with a local guide - the currents are tricky and very strong. In this little film you can come along on diving Su...
A dilemma in the protected marine area of Saltstraumen - Saltstraumen - Norway

Saltstraumen is one of the most unique places I have ever dived. The beauty and uniqueness of the life and the nature is really one of a kind. Here you can experience the strongest tides in the world and just that makes it amazing to visit. There is an abundance of life in the water which I as a diver could spend hours and hours observing and filming. But this also attracts a lot of recreationa...

A Mental Break - Havheksen - Amager - Denmark
For a year I did not dive. I had a lot of challenges and no energy. But diving is about getting a mental break and I needed that. This summer we got into the water again and did a lot of “dark” dives that just made the mental break much better being so focused on the life you see in the dark. And my favorite motive is the shrimps 😊

This is a film about Agnes and how she during her first year in high school faced challenges with anxiety, stress and sleeping problems and how that turned out to be something very different than psychological problems. She was at the end diagnosed with epilepsy. This film is made as part of a Casey Neistat Filmmaking & Storytelling Class. This was my final project. The film is based on intervi...

In the sea grass - Havheksen - Amager - Denmark

It is summer, it is hot, and it is getting evening. At this time this summer we went to the water for a dive. Just to relax and get a break. At our local site we have sea grass, and I am a big fan of this. And the evening light creates a fantastic atmosphere, and it is beautiful to just slowly move around and watch for the life in the grass. And this summer a favorite motive was the Brackish-wa...

This small film I made as a part of a Filmmaking & Storytelling 30 days intensive class I did with Casey Neistat. Therefore, the English text and subtitles. It is all shot in one day in our kitchen and edited the following week. It is story about how my youngest daughter living at home with us, my husband and I figured out to cope with the very difficult months of covid lock down in the beginni...
At the Bottom in the Dark - Havheksen - Amager - Denmark
A little film from our summer night and evening dives at our local dive site. It is amazing how you can see a lot of new things just diving a bit differently. On the bottom in the dark it is about hunting and feeding. Maybe also in the daytime, but just much more intense in the dark.
Diving?! - Gl Åbo - Lillebælt - Denmark
Relaxing summer diving in Lillebælt from Gl. Åbo Camping is just great. But sometimes the current is just too strong. Then we stayed in the shallow part of the water and put some extra weights on. The dive computer did not always agree to this being diving, but it is still beautiful and there are lots to see.
The Sum of It - Gl Åbo - Lillebælt - Denmark
It is summer and we when went for a little diving holiday at Gl Åbo Camping. A beautiful site and just next to Lillebælt. Summertime is not always for the best visibility under water. But for us it is the sum of our experiences that makes it great. And though summertime it was sometimes like being in snow weather under water. Somehow fascinating.

This is the last little film with impressions from diving in Lillebælt - our alternative last year to the Philippines when Covid hit the world. This is from the site Søbadet. A site we visited for the first time, but not the last time 😊. We did not get to see all that is possible to experience at this site - but it hopefully shows the atmosphere we experienced last year. Denmark is for sure an ...

Fishing hooks should be made of materials that dissolve after a week in water.
I am a fishing Tourist for years. The Last lets say Four journeys i lost one Pilker and three small shads. That was all! I use a monofilament shock leader and single hooks (Not Circle hooks) on my lures. If i use bait i use circle hooks. I Hope that i can continuing traveling to beautiful norway.
A lot could be improved using circle hooks. In 3 months of almost daily shore fishing in northern Norway, the only pilk/spoon I lost was the first one I cast in that had its default treble hook. I couldn't afford to lose more fishing close to the rocky bottom, so changed to a circle and didn't lose a single one after that...which means no line was lost, and of course very few fish due to the effectiveness of these hooks.
Why is it always pointing towards others? What improvement should there be, if Anglers have to report losses and pay for it? Is there any improving point in making the Anglers move around the corner to lose their tackle there? Imo it's just more difficult to clean up. And of course they don't discard trash there like it's suggested in the text, but lose expensive tackle unintentional. So i see this unfortunately as another attempt from one group of nature users, to claim exclusive usagerights to only themselves. But nature belongs to everybody, so either any responsible usage is allowed or none, including Diving. I'd prefer to work together for a better Nature. So Divers clean up underwater, while the Anglers clean up the shorelines hand in hand, as it is done in other parts of Europe, together with Birdspotters, Hunters, Skippers, etc.
As a conscious recreational angler I have to agree that there is the problem of losing fishing tackle. So without pointing fingers here; anglers could have a closer look on the way they fish. Abandoning lead sinkers or pilkers, using titanium split rings that bend open to connect the hook to the lure and using circle hooks to avoid snagging just to name a few.
Dejlig film. Snyggt jobbat!
Tak :-) Har også dykket Limhamn
Amazing. Which camera did you use?
What camera was you using?
Commenting for the algorithm.
I have seen Norwegian whit longlines whit 1 kg of steal and loosing this also a fisherman loosing 1 to 3 pieces but when 20.000 visitors each year fishing there its also the local economy. And when you dive its good to clean up. Ask every fisherman a few bucks so you make money also.
God video Inge! 😉👌
❤😺❤
I hate background music
Wunderschöne Bilder vielen Dank dafür!
Flot 👌
Condolences to the victims, the young men and women both in battle and at home, on both sides.
I don't quite see the issue. Commercial fishing produces FAR more garbage in the ocean than sport fishing. Typically sport fishing doesn't have much of an impact on fish population either.
The problem is not recreational fishing. It’s all the tourist trying to fish at this location. It creates an uneven load on the marine life at Saltstraumen. I’ve been there, because of the current it’s almost impossible to not get snagged.
From the looks of it if the Galten doesn't get some MUCH NEEDED maintenance it could easily join those three German destroyers. She doesn't look like she's had any hull maintenance in a long time.
What species of ray is that?
Know what a nylon shock leader is
Absolutely stunning my friend greetings from Scotland to you n the dive team...
At what depth are these wrecks...?
They lie about 20-30 m. But were actually moved as I recall after the war because they sank in the where all traffic were.
How many German sailors died that day?
Not sure - but there is a museum in Narvik about the events back in 1940 - they would likely know
Between 10. and 13. April 1940 died 149 German Sailors on the three destroyers.
Great video and information on the issues of such a lovely place. We have a similar site in Wales called the Menai Strait and this too suffers a similar problem. A small group of us divers regularly remove numerous pieces of snagged fishing gear from recreational anglers, but will give some back to them while trying to educate them at the same time. Keep up the good work👌
I've been to saltstraumen fishing off the shore , its unbelievable over there . it would be a shame if it was to get banned . shore fishing is so much more rewarding that boat fishing and you don't need to have loads of money to own a boat . Was quite surprised we never seen any locals fishing when we were over there last time . If that sort of fishing was on my doorstep id be fishing every day
shore fishing is more rewarding? you need to get educated if you want to make such a bold statement.
@@anton2417 I think so . Maybe the size of the fish are smaller but to land a 100lb halibut off the shore compared to that off a boat there’s no comparison
I am a former fishing guide specialized into sea fishing in norway, and i can attest to it being way much more rewarding to catch a halibut or a big coalfish from land.
You see this is how it's supposed to be done respect for commercial fishing and people just trying to get some dinner versus the Mindless multitude of the masses people need to make a living I get it I commercial fished in Southern California it's over run . Thank you for sharing this video over and out
Are you know some not deep not more 15m wrecks around Narvik to freedive? I dive couple times junkers 52 ww2 plane wreck near Narvik in hartvikvaten . ua-cam.com/video/ptOBvtMFTEg/v-deo.html
Some of the wrecks lie very shallow and could probably be freedived. Or at least parts of them. Would speak to the local guides to get the best positions
Amazing video!!
Awesome! I was researching the Saltstraumen and saw your video , Vakker!
Even just your video gives me the mental break I very much need right now. I'm tired of constantly making lemonade out of lemons. It's someone else's turn why I stay here
How were you allowed to dive there? Isn’t r a graveyard.
You are allowed to dive most of the wrecks in the harbour. But I would always dive with respect for the history and what happened back in 1940.
It is really great!!!! Thank you for sharing! Which month was it? What was the water temperature please? I'm asking because I'm looking for diving Norway :)
Thanks Sylvie :-) It was in July and the water temperature is about 10 degrees. If you want to go diving you should get in contact with one of the dive centres - you will need a diveguide with good knowledge of the currents. Good luck and enjoy - it is if not the most beautiful so at least one for the most beatiful diving I have had. Going there again this summer :-)
Wow amazing & Nice diving 👍
Thanks! It is amazing and going back this summer :-)
R.I.P all the men of the Kreigsmarine 🇩🇪🇩🇪
How the heck is there still paper on this wreck when the hull is so degraded
Very good question :-) Actually don't know - but I was also thinking the same
Possibly they were covered with something that protected them, until recently that covering decayed and the papers fell to where they are now. So only a matter of time till they disappear.
Good views. My father, Albert Goodey, was on HMS Havock which torpedoed Anton Schmitt. We visited in 2003 to unveil a monument. David Goodey
Thank you! It was a great experience to dive these wrecks but also with a lot of respect! We also visited the museum to understand what happen back in April 1940. Cannot imagine how it must have been for your father and those participating in this battle.
Nice video, thank you!
Thank you!
Wow love your voice over! And the details of the creatures and plants are incredible. Good job!
Thanks Arlette - really glad you liked 🙂
Flot naturvideo, med masser af dramatik. Musikken passer fint! ☺️👌
