Here’s a song by, Foy Vance off his album “Joy of Nothing” which he just recently celebrated the 10th year anniversary of its release, playing along side The Ulster Orchestra! Tutorial?
I started playing guitar ( both acoustic and electric .......and blues harp ) and singing since 1973, and I've gigged professionally for decades. ( my various bandmates and I were performing "classic rock" before there ever was such a term, lol ) My first love is acoustic solo sets though. It's all I do these days, by myself. I'm going on 63 yrs old ( yikes ), and I figured this song out the instant it was first released back in 1990......and was the first man in east/central Florida performing it both singing & playing it on acoustic guitar. I've been performing it ever since, and still do. I've always been a perfectionist, and I'm here to tell you: you are THE FIRST MAN (other than myself ) who not only gets the guitar part correct in the chorus, but you also play the bridge correctly on guitar as well. Good, strong & true vocals too. AAA+ performance young brother!!! It's always a pleasure to see & hear someone do a song RIGHT.

Thanks!! Ya it’s a Gibson AJ (Stage edition) I believe it was only 65 made of that particular model for that year. I got it in 2017. It’s a 2015 model I believe.

Any place to find some tabs for this diddy? I cant figure out the bridge " think you know it all but you dont know any better"
I just figured it out by ear, so I’m not sure it’s 100%, but It starts on the 9th fret with the E & A on the 9th, and G string on the 7th as the first chord. Then slide down to the 7th playing the E & A string on the 7th with the G string on 6th as the second chord then slide down to the 5th fret in the same position as the second chord. I’m sure you’ll get it from there! Have fun! ✌🏻
