    How can a buyer be sure that the house they’re purchasing is in good condition, considering that the material used almost 100% of the time is wood? I’m asking because I’m writing from Italy, where houses are made of masonry, and the cost is more or less the same as houses in the U.S.

    Grew up on the Far Eastside of Tucson in the 70’s and 80’s and can tell you the good (date night) restaurants in that part of town are few and far between now. The Oro Valley area is where the higher end restaurant industry has moved. Remember the Eastside’s Tack Room, Solarium, Charles, Olive Tree and Hidden Valley Inn? These quality restaurants have not been replaced on the Eastside.

    And when you see how they got elected it's all this money from George Soros that nobody can compete against. This is really foreign influence on us elections and it has got to be stopped. We have been totally corrupted by outside entities. And all this money comes in from these other states to make sure that our local elections are swayed. This is got to stop because they're not representing the local constituents at all. Hey man if I wanted to live like California's people I would have moved to California but they're moving out of there as fast as they can. And so those Lane brains came over here and destroyed Arizona.

    I've lived here since 1980 and since the Democrats took over the mayor offices and some of the other key roles in the state it has gone to hell in a handbasket and I was a Democrat all this time and voted for a lot of these hair brains. They just throw money away at stuff that makes them look good and then the roads are terrible they put it as the last priority in the budget and you could fall down in the craters in these roads and break an axle and Baggins took over a year to get their permits after a fire and the city just rake them over the coals constantly changing their mind, this is obviously very negative on business in Tucson Arizona.

    Folks...what company built this community? $3600 buy-in fee. Humm... 8 PB courts. Right up my alley. Streets look nicely paved. In your opinion what area (s) of the Tucson area is the place to be with cooler temps? Too bad you were unable to show the vistas of the Catalina Mts. from some of those homes.

      @peterjordan2738 we do have a handful or so of homes we show the inside of. Our rules here don't allow us to record inside the homes without certain permissions, which not all agents/brokers/sellers will give, unfortunately. In addition, genrally by the time the videos get published and people are watching them, the homes are no longer on the market, so we are more just trying to showcase the neighborhood and what the homes and prices are like in the different neighborhoods and areas.

    I have to smile, bought home here and compared to San Diego, CA it is fairly affordable so if you are thinking todays prices are way high, rethink, other parts of the country are much more expensive , I do not find the housing prices that bad.

    • @tucsonarizonaliving
      @tucsonarizonaliving 9 днів тому

      @@Post-i5t we are definitely more affordable than most parts of California. I think it's more people coming from other areas that aren't quite so expensive, or people that have been here and have seen prices nearly double from what they were. That coupled with wages not doubling, higher interest rates and higher cost of living, it has a lot of people considering leaving. We have been here our whole lives and we love Tucson!

    Terrible, worthless video. First, the content doesn't match the title. She goes off on tangents about hydrating oneself and living with desert animals and how to enjoy the desert museum, which have nothing to do with people leaving. Secondly, she discusses the heat, roads, housing costs, and wages but never equates any of those points with decreases in census. How about some numbers? What about the exfiltration of moving vehicles compared to their infiltration? That is the best arbiter of residency movements. She made plenty of faceless & nameless references to "them", but if she had any integrity, we'd hear WHO and WHAT PARTY fails to fix Tucson's issues. This was a rant video, with many valid points, but had nothing to do with the title.

    The very first open house we went to in April while camping in Tucson was in the Sabino Canyon area. It was just south of the park. Stunning views….very quiet…….the amount of trees in the yard were a micro bird sanctuary….and it seemed like a decent residential area to walk around. Tucson is no different than any other places...no matter where you go you will encounter these problem in the United States. The roads (especially the interstate) is horrible where it's guaranteed to either cause a chip/crack in your windshield, or objects like ladders, tire pieces and even furninture which has fallen off trucks here in Tucson. One thing that's really bad here is the chances of you getting hit by a car or truck while walking or riding a bicycle on the roads are very high (which should've been on your list)!
