You should always change the filter when doing a oil change, regardless if it's clean or not, why not change it? My goodness, also you need to buy the magnetic oil plug so that it collects the little metal pieces in the motor... My goodness, didn't anyone at the dealership tell you anything?? My goodness!!!!!

I have my dads bike 06 1200 custom never leaked oil i got it out of storage after a year and now its leaking a good bit by the bolt on the left side right behind/the foot peg ?
Sounds like primary ,Iam working on a video now changing the starter on mine you can get a gasket kit on Amazon pretty cheap,and it's not hard to do...thanks for Watching

This is the downfall of this bike. I just bored the hole out and used a larger bolt. No more issues at all. Stock motor mounts will continue to brake. I am going to also have a plate mounted on for a 3rd motor mount on my BV. I have a KP MINI as well that is almost like a grom when I compare it to my BV. Cant wait to get deeper into the video and see how the cush drive upgrade does.... Did you notice any different feeling with the new cush drive?
Yes big difference in cush drive ,before I changed them you could feel them slipping, I'm looking for a motor mount bracket now I think some one actually makes them for these bikes.. thanks for Watching and ride safe

Oil filters are cheap insurance.. I would of replaced it.
