I'm looking forward for the puppet stuff in set 5. I did look at some JP decks and see some did opt to not run cards from set 5 for forest.

@@battlecitybroadcasting yes but a few of those cards are ran later because the next colab set unlocks ways to combo 5 and the neutral feena in set 5 makes turboing through the deck easier

It may not be for another few months. Master Duel is usually 3-5 months behind the TCG.

I am unaware if MD rules it differently from TCG, but I do know that MD runs off the OCG rulings. Maybe they have it different over there. Nevertheless, you should be able to chain block everything. Soldier is a “When” effect, so that must be chain link 1. Both Emperor and GPD are “If” effects that both meet their conditions simultaneously, thus you can declare the order of your chain links between them. Glad the deck proves to be enjoyable!

@@battlecitybroadcasting Ah I see where the problem. MD doesn't let us choose which effect goes first it just asks for the GPD trigger first and then emperor second. Kind of a bummer.

Exactly right. Thank you for pointing that out. I did it better in the second 2-card hand with Jumper. I typically detach the emperor to make sure I have 2 lvl 8s in the GY to use Last Hope. Now if you don’t have Last Hope, then yes, keep the Emperor under Cipher X.

Photon blast is another great route! I usually end up getting Trance/Last Hope Numbers even when being Nib’ed, so I tend to play greedy just because I can. But if your play style is more safe, then for sure do that. The deck is flexible!

I certainly like your line way better which TCG players can certainly do now with the Arise-heart ban I doubt anyone will be playing NIB but ya master duel we get full power Kash in 20 days so every deck gonna run 3 Nibs and some Kajus or Divincarnate and book cards!!! I don’t think many people know but with galaxy eyes if your going first and get hand trapped a lot and your opponent uses their whole hand if at the very least you can get in C62 he can’t be Kaju your opponent needs a magic card destruction or banish or Impermanence, which is not easy to get to without a full hand so in master duel if I am going first and my opponent uses 3 plus cards to hand trap me and I end with just C62 no way am I scooping cause 99% of the time they have nothing to get him off the field then your turn you just OTK them

All the card choices (aside from crossout/called by) are multifunctional. It’s better to build a deck with as many multipurpose cards. Droll serves as a crossout target but is also a powerful hand trap this format. D shifter is nothing but a crossout target. If you sack into the one copy you cry.

@@MarcelJ17This week has been the best, the new support has been amazing. I've been popping off with my GE deck.

I’ve used it before definitely, but it’s the fact that I have to skip my own battle phase in a deck that realistically wants to otk you.

I used to run Photon Sanctuary at 3 before PHHY (core set). For what it is, Photon Sanctuary is a good card if you choose to run it. However, with all the amazing support this deck has gotten, the value gained from sanctuary just became less and less. If you see it, great! But it’s not necessary anymore.

I normally side out the drolls and crossouts since they usually do nothing to back row decks.

That was the goal, but classes and jobs have kept all of us busy. With DUNE around the corner, it’ll probably be best to see how the format shapes up and make one then. The deck will change a bit from now until then, I’m sure of it. Also, Jumper is an insane card.

I think it’s a cool card. That would definitely be something to test for oneself. I personally think 2000/1800 ATK is too low to really be effective. Sometimes, you won’t even end on a Rank 4 since you may have to link it off. All the other dragons in the deck have too much ATK to be a legal target for the trap.

@@battlecitybroadcasting usaly I would say using blast dragon sense it can protect all your other stuff but photon dragon would be best to use sense it has 2000 attack. I would say it depends on the deck. because if you going egenced sprites there dead in the water unless they have a way to get the card or monster off the field.

That is true. However, my theory on match dependent cards is to see if any other cards would be more versatile and effective at dealing with the same threats. In the case of Spright, cards such as Ash Blossom stops the gigantic and it also is the most versatile HT that would already be run in any deck. There’s also book of moon/eclipse that would stop Spright cold on the normal summon as well as deal with Kashtira. I’m not down talking your idea at all. There’s no possible way only one person would know the best of everything. This is something that now falls under creativity and deck building rather than knowing the specifics of a certain deck, so personal testing will always give you the answer you’re looking for.

Photon Jumper and Last Hope Numbers are very welcome additions to the deck. We're currently working on an updated profile in between jobs and classes. We'll get it out as soon as we can, so definitely stay tuned for that.

Even without the new support in MD, the deck structure and ratios are still relatively the same. You would cut out Wizard completely (since Wizard is not good without Emperor). Replace it with 2 Galaxy Knight and a second Galaxy Brave. Spell lineup would include Photon Sanctuary since it’s your best spell without the new support. Galaktikuriboh is interchangeable with Astral Kuriboh. You now have more extra deck space to work with since there’s no Galaxy Photon Dragon. Of course, there’s also Maxx C and Ash Blossom that is required.

Glad you asked. I’m trying to put together an updated profile right now in between work and classes. But this is a good opportunity to get a better feel for the deck by experimenting. Hint: it’s the 4 cards that give the least consistency/value : )

One of my favorite decks design wise. However, it does get a little boring doing the same combo over and over.

Sadly, I don't think that this deck has many combos that are worthwhile to do. I might mess around with this deck in the future, but for now it is very hard for me to play it in this current meta.

If I run it, I’ll use it. It’s still a viable option. It’s just that with all the new support the deck has gotten and will get, it’s value is a diminishing return. It doesn’t do anything unique. It’s just another extender for the deck. I just now find more value in the other spells I talked about. It’s also nice to not be locked into LIGHT all the time, so I now have a bit more freedom to experiment with other cards.
