In this first part of my Testimony Breakdown Series, I share the story of how a tumor in my leg when I was younger led to being declined from joining the Marines at 19, and how this unexpected event tested my faith. Join me as I reflect on the power of trusting in God’s will, even when His plans don’t align with our desires. Through Scripture and personal experience, I discuss the importance of placing our faith in God Himself, not in specific outcomes, and how He works all things for our good.

Another interesting perspective, is how Jesus calls us to have a childlike faith. He spoke to His “children” in parables, just like how we tell children stories. They also lived in a very oral culture, which leads me to believe that stories were easier for them to understand. I love these videos Joey!!
