Something Incredible
United Kingdom
Приєднався 20 лип 2018
Carl Sagan (probably) once said: "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known". Join us and discover something incredible about our world.
I am a scientist, a writer, and a creator with a passion for discovering the stories behind our world.
I got my degree in Earth Sciences in 2008, and followed up with a PhD in Palaeontology and Astrobiology, and a short spell at NASA. But my great love is for sharing knowledge, and I now work full time making fascinating factual content for broadcast TV and digital platforms, including this channel!

I think it could be more the facial expressions when mooing
Try mooing with a smile on your face, it might change your baby’s reaction. Love to know😊

Starlink Satellite 🛰️
i photographed something in South Africa on the 20 May 2011, others have said it is a flare from my camera but since then i have been unable to repeat this. i have a video taken elsewhere in the world that seems to have this thing radiating the same rainbow energy effect. i had someone with me when i took the photo.
I knew a baby who laughed so much when mooed at he loved it but hey i know not all kids are the same.
Looked for the link but didn’t see it
On the 2nd of January 2025 at about 2:00am, I saw one just 15fit above the ground and 50meter distance to my position in my compound, which is very brighter light and also disappeared in the sky
But what about naked viruses like Rhinovirus ?
So, this is saying a human eye can see these at 350-450 kilometers away? Seems pretty incredible, doesn’t it? Ain’t no way. There smaller than most passenger ✈️. and they fly 40-55 thousand 3:16 feet up and that’s around 10-20 miles and are extremely hard for the human eye to see. That’s hard to believe.
I was hoping it was aliens. So I began the UA-cam research. After videos and comments. I believe this is exactly what I saw tonight. From York Pennsylvania, around 630 pm. 12-31-24. About 15-20. Evenly spaced. Very bright. Very clear skies. Perfectly vertical. They all slowly moved up and disappeared. All lasting from the moment I first spotted them about 40 seconds.
I saw this today the lights were perfectly aligned
i just saw some over Northern Baltimore and I was so confused
Old people like my mom 😂
Seen them here in northeast
If you’re emphasizing “mostly” about starlight’s role, then starlight is mostly historical, with elements of geography woven in. Here’s why: Starlight as Mostly Historical • Ancient Light: The stars we see in the night sky are snapshots of the past because light takes time to travel to Earth. For example: • A star 1,000 light-years away shows us what it looked like 1,000 years ago. • Some stars we see today might no longer exist, but their light is still traveling through space. • Cosmic Timeline: Starlight carries information about the universe’s origins, helping us piece together the history of galaxies, stars, and even the Big Bang. It is like a time machine, revealing how the cosmos evolved. Geography’s Role While starlight is mostly historical, it also connects to geography: • Celestial Navigation: The positions of stars in the sky change depending on where you are on Earth, making them vital for geographic orientation. • Light’s Interaction with Earth: Atmospheric conditions, like latitude or altitude, affect how starlight is perceived (e.g., the clarity of stars in deserts or mountains). Conclusion: The Balance Starlight is mostly historical because it reveals the story of the universe and the stars themselves. However, its application in geography, especially navigation and spatial understanding, gives it a significant geographic dimension. Would you like to dive deeper into one of these aspects-such as the history of a particular star or its geographic use?
I just saw this in Elk Grove California tonight about 7pm. That’s why I came here to find an answer. I thought, what in the world is that?
Just saw them on tuesday at about 20:00pm moving in a straight line they where moving up into the sky then they just dissapeared in to the sky. From South Africa
I’ve still got the teeth marks on the inside of my lips 9 years later
Saw these on Monday but couldn't record with my phone
I've been seeing them for years but today, say about 30 of them. Commenting from the continent of Africa. Lesotho 🇱🇸
Trying to cover up the Truth are we....
I saw the same, but first was five balls at roof level
Saw the same thing twice in Champaign IL
How the ELL do people see that stuff in it? I'm over 60, and I have never been able to see any recognizable shapes in the moon's shadows. I can see shapes, including faces, in things like clouds or patterns in carpets, etc., but nothing in the moon. Am I weird? Am I the only one?
Saw them 2 mins ago ,was shocked thought maybe Jesus is coming back😂

No idiot it is star link, saved my self 4 minutes of Ai speech about a clickbait video.
I saw a row of about 10 tonight and weird rays across the night sky, as well as a very large aura surrounding the moon
I saw that train on the sky a minute ago😮 08/11/2024 8:00pm South Africa
I see just now.. why is star moving line then disappear
I threw bro under the bus
How sure are you there spaceX project and not Aliens because I saw the lights wired and not normal to show Up in random places and most of them were seen by the military in the US and other people in the World
Great video: thank you
I saw this while passing by Connecticut just two nights ago. No such things as aliens
Babies cry when you moo at them because the sound of a cow's moo is similar to a baby's cry, which can remind them of times when they were crying and sad. A 2017 study by Japanese scientists found that the acoustic properties of a cow's moo and a baby's cry are similar enough to make babies cry. The study concluded that almost all babies who heard a cow cry sound also cried. Babies are also sensitive to noise because they have smaller ear canals, which amplify loud sounds
I just saw them an hour ago (Northwest New Jersey).
Thank you so much I really needed an answer 😭💗
❤
I saw this but I saw a chain of only 9 of them. It was not space x. They were huge! They looked like stars just 10x as big. Holy crap I wish I recorded but not gonna lie I froze in fear/shock because I was alone in the night sky witnessing this and just felt eerie.
Maddd I just seen a line of 20 plus not much bigger than stars but a big line evenly spaced and then the disappear not to far into the distance . If the mainstream say it’s satellites it defo isn’t lol but people are too asleep believe what ever there told
@@callumdowning6312I seen the same tonight over uk 20 of them lined up all flying through the sky for around a minute and suddenly vanished so I sat there for around half hour just looking up at the sky and seen individual ones just fly around and vanish it was crazy 😂
Just saw a long row, lost count in 2s perfectly straight. Thought it was aliens touring basingstoke England, until l looked up utube. Pretty cool tho.. Moon is very bright n al tonight..
Ye I jus took the bin out in Nottingham England at 6am an seen a line of maybe 20 of them . Me and my daughter seen the same thing at about 5 o clock at night last year. I’m Not having this space x bollocks ! They travel ina line and then disappear in front of your eyes like there going into some portal or something .
My mom has cinnamon eyes and my dad has green/hazel. ……. I have dark cinnamon-
I'm glad I saw this video 😀
the best mask is when you stop being an idiot. you turn off the TV and awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay you go. no mask necessary.
How do you get these opportunities? Because I’m just starting university and I’ve never had any opportunities in my life, so I’m trying to find a way to create some opportunities for myself so I can do exciting things like you do when I graduate, If you wouldn’t mind sharing strategies or ways you got research or lab opportunities when you were in school I would absolutely appreciate that and that information would be invaluable
My baby has the same eye colour, I wonder where he ends up
Adorable video and beautiful family! It was educational and creative too :)
So, Now we can't figure out whether we saw a star or spaceship or a satellite 😅
i love science baby \(^o^)/
