Interesting in that every landscape comparison I preferred vanilla. Thank you for the in-depth look!
谢谢,非常直观。
Thank fucking God I found this. VRIK tutorials in one 40m video suck.
Vanilla looks way better than most of them lol
you are worthy of praise <3
I know this is old at this point, but how would one go about configuring the ini for their cpu?
When I start SKSEVR I just get stuck in the Steam waiting room. I give up. I'm going outside
You are an amazing guy, thanks for doing this.
I don't know. Maybe it's because I've spent so much time playing modded Skyrim, but vanilla fogs look great. I'm a bit tired of seeing the unloaded world. Does anybody know how to bring them to azurite weathers.
i dont see the calibration power in my game
Very helpful, thank you. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to do this
This is great! Mine doesn't work at all though like this. I tried. it just drops it. wierd. I also have quest 1 , running through rift, then through steam. Not sure where to turn on/off haptics, but dont seem to have these. Mod week first week modding, be nice lol. I'll get there eventually. No higgs menu shows up in the mod list to do anything, but Higs is working -- collision grabbing people and stuff. soooo Idk.
Thank you for this. I needed something to do unrelated to my profession to have fun when I can't hike or go climb. If I am going to relax and kill time, I will be the best at it. This content helps. Thank you for the video. As of late Jan 2024 (that is Wabbajack availability), I am torn between Librum and FUS. FUS reminds me of how the game originally felt when I started in 2011. Librum is more the gameplay feel that I am after, I'll compromise on that if it means the visuals are slightly different. That is coming from a player that spent the latter years of his Skyrim career in Requiem based modlists and later The Wildllander package. I got tired of hardcore Requiem stuff and I think I might want to have some vanilla fun on something like a FUS list. I am torn.... Any thoughts? Computer specs are not a concern.
vanilla look so good great art
To me, the vanilla version almost always looks better. To each their own!
Might be a dumb question but how do you know if open composite is working? I changed the DLL file in the Skyrim VR folder but when I run the game in MO2 it still starts steamvr before launching the game
has any chance the fsr3 comes to skyrim?
Not that i know. We still use 2.2
where u discord to send to images and places to fix in next update?

Awsome!!! 🎉🎉🎉 ...another piece of Skyrim-VR-modding-art!!!
🎉
Great work!!!!! 🎉
All these mods are just taking something away from Skyrim, without giving something propotional back.
idk tahrovin is giving it some proportional assets 🤣🤣
tahrovin is the best here
Hi. What grass mod/mods are you using?
Is it youtube compression, or does it also looks so blurry through Virtual Desktop? It looked way crisper when I tried one of the older FUS versions with Reverb G2 in the past.
Yeah looks crisp in my headset. I need to figure out how to get it crisp on youtube now that i dont record Oculus Mirror
The G2 has display port. It will look more crisp in the g2 than with VD as you only have supported bitrates until 400 with VD. However, via link cable or even air link, you can crank up the bitrate to 960 and will have a similar picture compared to your G2 display port. I just switched from the g2 to the q3. I had much to learn :D but now the picture is awesome
@@Jan-1337 I'd never switch from G2 to Quest 3, especially with all its downsides. My gaming room is pretty small, so even standing I don't move much to not hit anything with my hands when not close to the center of my play space. I have pulley cable management system on the ceiling so I don't even feel the tether most of the time and it's also convinient when playing sim racing games with a steering wheel or space sims with HOTAS. If I was going to buy a new headset, it would be something with better comfort, like Bigscreen Beyond or some other not yet invented crazy small headset with good picture quality. Quest 3 is way less comfortable than G2 from what people say and in my country Quest addons are pretty expensive, as VR is not that popular. Shipping costs from other countries aren't great too.
@@Kondiqq It's interesting how you base your buying decisions on what 'some people say.' If you had applied the same approach to the G2, which faced significant criticism regarding its controllers and lenses, you might never have purchased it ;) Nevertheless, I've been using the G2 along with a pulley system for the past 3 years, and I absolutely love it. I won't try to convince you that there are no downsides to the Q3 in direct comparison to the G2. I'll just mention that your comment may not age well if you decide to try the Q3 for the first time. But let's agree on this: regardless of which headset you have, EVERY day you can spend in VR is a GOOD day ;) Wishing you a fantastic weekend! :)
@@Jan-1337 For sure Quest 3 will be an upgrade for some people, but I have different needs when it comes to VR, and for me it would be a downgrade. Check what VR Flight Sim Guy said about the headset (he tried all the headsets on the market, including Pimax Crystal and other expensive ones) - he mentioned screen door effect, mura effect (even though it's not OLED, it's very visible in flight sim, so for sure would annoy me in Elite: Dangerous, Star Wars: Squadrons, NMS, ATS, ETS2, etc.). Quest 3 is great if you care about color passthrough and standalone VR experience. For PCVR, especially if you play more sims than other VR games, Quest 3 would not be a perfect choice. Like I said, I like sim racing (mostly Assetto Corsa) with steering wheel and playing Elite: Dangerous with HOTAS, No Man's Sky sitting (long sessions). I sometimes have 6-10 hours sessions in American Truck Simulator or modded Euro Truck Simulator 2, with a steering wheel and in VR. G2 is one of the best choices for sim games. I also watched some movies and tv shows using Bigscreen app, in which image clarity is also more important than controller tracking. VR games which require high precision controller tracking are a minority if I look at my playtime. I spend more time playing sims, for which G2 is just better. As for the controllers, I have G2 V2, so the cameras have slightly higher FOV than the first version, and the tracking never caused me issues, but it also got even better with new versions of the software. There are reddit posts on hpreverb subreddit how people noticed the G2 tracking got way better like over a year ago in one of the software updates, even for the V1 version. And the G2 tracking requires certain conditions to work perfectly, like blank walls don't help (I have video game posters in the gaming room), reflective surfaces make you lose tracking (like when controller LEDs reflect in a mirror or a window, headset thinks controller jumped there - my only issue is my window, but it rarely happens and in the evening (when I usually play) I close my blinds so nothing reflective is around. Oh, and you need well lit room for good tracking. I replaced my ceiling light mostly to not hit it with my hand (I bought possibly thinest thing I could find, while still being able to fit normal sized bulbs). Regardless, you can have fun in VR no matter the headset you have. My friend has Reverb G1 with a very bad tracking and unsupported controllers and he still loves it, but he's looking what to buy to replace it (he has a new GPU since late summer). He thought about buying Quest 3, but he changed his mind, thinking about Pico 4 because it's cheaper and not at all worse for PCVR (he also doesn't care about standalone). The more people have VR, the better, so pick what's best for your needs. Like I said, the only reason I would change a headset, would be a very lightweight one to not feel it at all when you play VR - and people say that a lot about Beyond, in which you have to scan your face for them to make a mold with perfect fit for your face, and there's no light leaking in at all - in comparison all other headsets have at least small light leaks, even if you don't notice it. People say Beyond is on another level with immersion. It's too expensive for me, though, I'll wait till technology is more affordable in a few years before I'll think about changing my headset, I play flatscreen games more than VR ones too, so no rush.
looks great! what water mods are you using in FUS?
Is there a modlist like fus but with more contents (not graphic) ?
As far as I know, there is no wj list that only does content.
@@Kvitekvist Ohh ok, do you use vr dlaa by the way? i have a 3070 and quest 2 too, and i think it's not enough for higher graphic wj modlists.
what are your settings? I have 3060 more than 35-50 fps
All medium. Medium ini, medium dyndolod, medium virtual desktop quality, 90hz, default 100% res
@@Kvitekvist thanks
Amazing!
Thanks 😊
The people saying "Vanilla looks better" are all console players LOL
Nope, PC. I just have taste
I can't get this to work. I'm swinging my pickaxe like an idiot and nothing happens.
i could never play with a shield if this is how jittery they are
I watched your holster video yesterday and I am loving having my one hander, bow and shield now within arms reach. I had not tried the holsters because i hated the holsters from The Walking Dead game. But they are implemented so much better in VRIK. So cheers. Checking to see what I can do with spellz now :) There is some function that brings up my summons spells sometimes - i have no idea how it works lol. It always shows up at the wrong time!
in the headset and without the enb enabled, FUS looks very natural. i don't think this video really does it justice. stick to the default visuals FUS RO or FUS RO DA settings and don't start enabling visual options that aren't turned on by default with the profiles and its great. if you start turning enb and other things on it can get over saturated and i like it to look more natural in color pallet. it may look more clear but in VR that's a good thing. the only thing I don't like and feel are out of place are the Lilly pads. i deal with it though because I like the other water grass elements.
do you know how we can keep the vanilla fog & cold pallet with FUS? i like to mod the game but i hate the cartoony lightning of all ENB i saw thus far.
Vanilla looks like a thousand times more natural and pleasing.
Any reprojection?
Nope
This looks great! Th exterior daytime colors look a lot more muted (which I prefer). Is this a change to the mod, or is a diff ENB selected? (I'm new to this, so forgive any noobness.)
Bit of a mixed bag for me... I love the interiors, but outside sometimes, it's just too green. And not really a fan of the trees outside Markarth. It's like if summer came to Skyrim, but it's kinda off. The water and weather is alright, though.
Was looking in to thread dedication and this popped up. Ive never seen skyrim VR or a video of it. that said, when you turned I about threw up watching the video :) How do people's internal equilibrium handle that curve and swing ?>??
You need to get used to it slowly in the beginning :)
why 64gb ram? i have 16gb and a gtx1660ti. should i be fine running this setup.
64 is overkill, but for heavy modded skyrimvr 32 is recommended. It easily use 20GB
@@Kvitekvist alright sweet ill look into some 32gb
I appreciate the video. I have been trying out FUS with Wabbajack for a minute now. My visuals never felt quite right. Hoping ENB resolves it as apparently I had only enabled Medium - VRVision Reshade.
thanks for this, super helpful!
I managed to get wabba working on my SkyrimVR and wow is it amazing. I wish you showed dungeon footage in this video, because they look really good, although you do need a torch now !
Had the holsters working for about 5 minutes and then I was no longer able to add holsters or sheath weapons. No haptic feedback whatsoever.
specs?
thank you, very helpful! :)
Using the FUS mod list, having absolutely no luck finding my arm holsters. Any ideas what I could try next? I’ve got a dagger working fine in hip holster (used mcm to enable daggers in it), so I know VRIK is working and what the haptic feedback feels like. I’ve increased the haptic strength and holster activation distance, done calibration. Nothing triggers near either arm. I did manage to get a dagger into a chest holster once, then never found it again after I took the dagger back out.
Absolut fantastic showcase of the differenses!
Would love to see Wabbajack in the future have modular lists - so you can choose a look for your game separately from the mechanics, the environment from the npcs, that sort of thing.
FUS is the modular list. But not at the detail level you describe. But it is definitly the best base to build your own list on. My take on why you wont find it, is a few reasons. Visual mods take up the most space, so you would have a pretty bloated list full of 50GB of unused mods you still need to downloaded. Second, lots of mods work together or conflict against others. You would also not be able to provide pre generated LODs as there would be too many variable. Im not saying it cant be done, but its a ton of work.
just ctrl-shift? not ctrl-shift-something? Azurean doco says Shift-Enter but that does not work for me. Could it be Ctrl-Shift-Enter?
Shift + Enter. I must have remapped it on my side. Sorry about that!
I know this is months old and you have probably figured it out, but for others who arrive here, you have to focus the skyrim window on the desktop to use the enb hotkeys. Mine never auto focuses and I have to pull up my goggles and click it once first.
