Hey there, Chris here.....great bike work!!!!! I have a question or 2 for you on the chopper kit(s).....will the spoke wheels from the other Revell chopper kits fit this particular kit? I imagine since the kits are 1:12 scale & they are made by Revell, they will. Lastly,, which kit is a better kit or pros & cons between the Wicked kit & the other Revell chopper kits??? Thanks so much.......build on!!!!!!

Good to hear from you again, hope you are doing well. Your plan for the build is amazing, very appropriate for Tom. I've done some home made "decals" just printed on paper that I've cut out and mod podged onto the model, it worked out very well for me. I'm sure you can cut out your decals ok. Looking forward to seeing your paint job, best to avoid overdoing it.

Great looking decals Ken, the clowns on the roof will look awesome, two on the sedan side is perfect, no pride car, lol, I don't know if you saw Nick's latest video on my appreciation build, Old school Modeler, Great color combo he chose, 😎👍

Awesome decals! I would leave the doors plain and put Jack on the radiator. As for the paint, not sure either. Ya know Chris also said less is more sometimes. I see the white and dark undertones for the body but I can't really say how to do it either... Will be fun to see this come together... 😁 Sure is fun getting old and I'm sure 60 will be as much fun as 59, at 70 I don't remember... 🤣 LLAP 🖖

Hi Ken, good to hear from you again, hope you are doing well. Vince Weston just finished building that kit and I understand it has some issues. You could try cutting off the words on the bottom of the decal sheet to see how they react in water, spraying them with the clear sealer would probably be a safe bet.

I would test with one of the decals you aren't going to use, you may not have to do anything.

Fantastic piece.

I would first scan copy of the decals and save a copy on the computer. The ink jet can get pretty close to the colors of the orginal but can not print white...hence the white decal paper..... the kit decals are the best... If there is printing on the edge decal thats not used on the model you can test cut them out out in water and see if they break up. I would use krylon #1305 gloss clear over the kit decals to seal and perserve them but then you need too cut each decal out seprately and close to the image the same as if you would printimg out a copy on white decal paper you still have to clear coat them and cut close to the image.... always use light coats what ever clear coat you choose to use and let try between coats... Good luck.

My dad was a Rupp dealer and saw this sled and met Mickey Rupp at a snowmobile convention in NY Adirondack park… I have a pic of the real thing along with the entire Rupp production line for 72!!! As a kid seeing this was amazing!! I miss the days of Rupp!! I have wanted to find a Nitro to play around with for many years.

Im building that now, I bought it at Ollies a few weeks ago for 12.99. Fun kit to build!
