Mystery Island (Inyeug) as you probably know is uninhabited. They bring the items for sale, umbrellas, chairs food etc over just for the cruise ship visit from Aneityum where you visited. The island was used as an air strip for US troops during WW2

The song played on the bugle was The Last Post which signifies the end of days activities. It is also sounded at military funerals to indicate a soldier has gone to his final rest. It is also played at Commemorative services such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.

The dance they were doing at sailaway is the Nutbush which Aussies do a lot. I believe they hold the world record for the most people doing it at once! We were on this cruise also!

Mmmm! You know MamaD definitely would love the Coconut Shrimp and both of the Empanadas! If you want a real treat, MamaD loves Royal Caribbean's Coconut Ranger Cookies! I smuggled some on our last cruise.

Thanks for trying the coffee and hot chocolate. Carnival used to have great hot chocolate in the machine. It wasn’t good last time. Neither was the free coffee. I would have paid $35 too. Looks well worth it. Creme brûlée is one of my favorite desserts too. I’m with momma D- I’m a cherry pie gal lol

Christmas in July started in the late 70s, early 80s in Australia. It's usually our coldest time of the year and means we get to enjoy the cold weather customs that the northern hemisphere experiences. I've been to several Christmas in July functions including up in the Blue Mountains and travelled on a steam train. It's nice to see Carnival getting in on the fun.

Sad to see you videos ending. I could tell two days ago it seemed you were getting a head cold. Bobby and I did Back behind the scene tour. It was awesome but a little claustrophobic and places no air movement. Glad I did it but not sure if I will do it again.

Hi Holly. The best part of this vlog was not seeing you go up on stage for the hypnotist show. It was seeing something I've never seen before. What you ask? It was the guy who didn't go under at the show when you were onstage. He was on the opposite end from you. Safe travels back to the USA.

Hi Holly. There isn't enough money in their country to get me to do firewalking, but I was disappointed that your excursion got cancelled because I wanted to see you experience it. I would've chosen the replacement from the get-go. You must have yelled on the inside "YAY. Let me contribute to your local economy!" when you found out that you could get your hair braided there.
