i cant find the blower motor resistor in my 2005 corsa sxi twinport , watched your video and i cant see it
Cit trebuie sa fie dist între saboti și maieu
Thanks I was struggling to get the tank off as its so different to the other bikes i have owned i didn't realise i just had to pull it backwards after taking off that one bolt. Need to get my carb off to clean it cos its got a blocked jet also gotta check my valves and cam tensioner cos it sounds like a bag of spanners.
Thanks for share 👍 I came to see if the filter I imported from U.S was really a genuine one. I'm glad it's pretty much identical yours.
excellent video, thank you for your hard work
OK👍👍👍
Brilliant video
Brother, my Corsa cabin ventilation is not working at all, even in position "4". Do you have any idea what should I check for ? I haven't yet tried the resister you've shown
Nice one Geezer!
Nice job and video. It can also be helpful to warm the outside of sprocket carrier where the bearing sits with a heat gun to expand it prior to punching out the bearing with a socket. Warming it prior to installing the new bearing makes fitment easier as well. Thank you
Many thanks for your video. Got the same problem, but I have a Corsa D so I hope it's a similar process Never done this stuff before, but I'm having to as I can't afford taking it to the mechanics. Cheers! 🙏
Mate you made it hard for yourself. how about cleaning it all before you replace your wheel i see you never service your bearing
Might be a good engine but how come yours went?
คุยน้อยๆ ทำเยอะๆ สิวะ
Is this the same for a Tigra ?
I know this was posted 2 years ago but if u see this please tell me the o ring size i believe i have the wrong size and that’s why it’s leaking
How many miles are on it to make it needing new bearings and axles
I do my farther 2 times a year I allways use the extractor jack passenger side up a touch make sure you tube is straight I store the tube in garage with a weight on it
Really good video this! Did the brakes on the Mrs' Car no problem! Quite right about the retaining clips being a bastard to get back in, though 😂
How is it sliding so easy in... mine needs hammer
If i got this correct not 100% sure but the outer part is FPM dont lubricate it or it will leak and the inner part must be lubricated its APM and seal moving part.
Very nice job. I'll try change the engine in my bike. Thanks
why didn't you replace sump plug washer?
Super labombastic fantastic skolastic 💘
Thanks for the information. I'm embarking on a head gasket repair also. This helps a lot.
Спасибо, всё отлично!
Well done, Joe! Very well explained - and filmed, given that you were (obvs) on your tod. I was looking for this adjustment for a Fiat Punto, and this Focus rear brake arrangement is a dead ringer for that of the Grande Punto. Mick, West Yorks. PS Sanding brake shoes? Please don't. It's both unnecessary (their surfaces will be re-compressed/ re-glazed within seconds of normal use) and a serious health hazard to you.
On the 1.3 the bottom cog of the timing chain is not keyed to the shaft so you can quite easily put the timing out unless the flywheel is locked.... be warned as the 1.2 looks exactly the same.
Nice work-
Can you breakdown a list of tools needed and sizes. Don’t wanna have to buy a whole new toolset
Great video bro thank you so much i love you❤
Great video buddy, ta.
Great video cheers
screws ion the trim, just like my car.
Perfectly explained, thank you!! 👍 I'm going to change the bearing on the left side since it's has been shotted by some rough streets...
Thanks Joe. Nice video. I've also got a 1.2 sxi 5 Door in 21b aswell. It's got bout 100,000 mls and runs really nicely. Hope to see you doing more videos like this one. Your a good mechanic and your good at explaining what's required to get it done well. Very professional. Cheers mate👍
Done mine, car just passed MOT, grate video mate
do you turn this screw counterclockwise towards you? to make it tighter for the brake shoes
100 Nm on the axle bolt as the manual states is too much There has been a lot published on this. Greywolf recommends 80 Nm My mate stripped his axle threads with 100 nm and could not get the nut off.
Awesome Video! Tahnks for sharing ! Very informative!
Simple, easy, just what i needed. Goddamn wiper assembly on my grandfather's fiesta caused massive corrosion in the strut mount, possibly the strut itself, but I'll replace both and not take the chance. Should have a grommet in the top from factory
I had to watch 5 min unskippable advertisement to watch this video !😢
I may have missed it but Honda has a hole at the bottom of the water pump to act as a ´telltale´ or signal that the internal mechanical seal on the pump shaft is compromised. It acts as a drain that will leave antifreeze on the floor alerting you to the failure of said seal. If that is the case you should not have welded it. By welding it you will ensure the leakage gets into the engine itself. Not sure if that is what you did but make sure everything is as it should be as antifreeze in your engine oil is a bit of a nightmare.
is this actualy a future and is it stated in the manual? (mine leaks even after replacing the housing seal. does this mean i need to refurb the pump?)
Very precise and didn't miss a beat!
Good video I'm gonna try my corsa brakes after watching this...
Very nice video! Thanks for the help
Excellent video
My 2015 corsa e 1.4 petrol oil filter looks very different. Must be a different 1.4 engine (even though everything looks the same), I see no other possibility. No need to 'torque' an oil filter at all, have been tightening them for 30 years with just a wrench, never any issues. Don't overthink things.
First filter he showed was for a manual transmission, he has an auto which uses the longer version.
Just had to get my rear wheel off a few days ago after a nasty incident with a bike cover at 100km/h. While I have it off, I may as well check these little guys. Thanks for the knowledge!
Hi ! Thanks. How many km (or miles) when you had to change your bearings? Greetings from France
Hello mate, I changed them when the bike had 31,600 miles on it. The bike is a 2013 model 👍
@@rollingwithjoe7562 Thank you very much for your answer 🙏. Do you stay on the road or do you go offroad from time to time? Do you ride regularly when it rains? Because 31,000 miles isn't a lot.
@@williamyamm8803. You can see from the condition of the bearings and rust that this bike does off road and goes through water.
@@murraycharters6102 Thanks !
