I’m sending you a hug because the fact that your mind immediately goes to this implies that there is a story or trauma behind it. As a single mother dating, I also had this mindset and fear. I’m grateful for my traumas because it’s helped me fiercely protect my daughter, myself and learn how to spot the monsters. We are now in the presence of an angel. We are both safer now than we have ever been. I can assure you that I have no worries. I genuinely appreciate your concern 🫶🏾

When I was younger, I couldn’t completely vibe with the “Cater 2 U” and super submissive women in R&B! In retrospect, I think it’s because the men I was seeing were undeserving or not willing to fully reciprocate my energy.
