any differences with 77-m4?
Welcome home Pierre. I have the Kaleinar-3. It was heavy that the chinese M-42 adapter broke off😀
Woah, a new video from my favorite channel about lens, youare awesome dude
Merci !
An excellent video that combines interesting history with lens technical details and performance. For future videos how about a multipart series on Volosov and other luminaries that have made significant contributions to the development of soviet era lenses? Again combining historical facts with specific lens development and characteristics could be interesting.
That's a good idea, I will think about it!
welcome back !! merci !
Enfin!!! Merci pour ce retour🙌
What are those ? Mini LED ?
Hello from New York, USA. I appreciate this video. I hope you come back and start making more and that hopefully you're in good health wherever you are.
Canal maravilhoso! Falo do Brasil!
Hello, could you please remind about when approximately were those OKs1-50-1 lenses were manufactured?
From 50's to 80's. They have been produced during a long time, but not massively.
@sovietlenses1642 early 50s? I'd be super impressed if the soviet made lenses that goes to 50lpmm in early 1950s, and it's wide open at f2.0 right? Thanks a lot for answering!
@@jianchenglu6584 My OKS1-50-1 is from 1956 by Lenkinap (later joined other maker to create LOMO), with red F. Soviet already made prototype Helios 50/2 in 1937.
Great Pictures 👍
Cooool! Must have been a lot of work to collect all these information. Though I miss some more example of photos, done the the different lenses. Nonetheless, great job!
My Tair 3 has "Grand Prix Brussels 1958 " engraved on it.... Looking identical to that one at 05:18 mins... Came with case, hood and 3 filters...
Yep got it too, but it has fungus inside the Lens...
How many lenses do you own?
Bravo quelle culture...
I came across several cine T lenses (OKS1-100-1T if I remember right), none of them were like you said (which sound quite weird). I believe your RO61 was modified, as a piece of black paper does not looks professionnal.
I would love to see this video with sound or subtitles. It's definitely something I've been looking to do, thanks the visual reference.
pas de son !
En effet!
Thanks so much!
Merci d'avance.
Hello. I hope you see this message. I have this lens and when I set it to f2.8, I see that it's not fully open. So the bokeh balls have some shape, not round, and also it doesn't transmit light as much as it can be. Is it the same for you, and this is how the lens is designed? Or is mine faulty?
You and I are acquaintances on several vintage lens Facebook groups. I just received my Telemar and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'll eventually be doing a review of this lens so I'm interested to discover the group's general consensus of this lens. Cheers!
Comparison: Helios 33, Lomo OKS 1-35-1, 1-40-1 & 1-50-1, spherical lens test ua-cam.com/video/PIEo5uDj5Ao/v-deo.html
It is an amazing lens. Extended footage here: ua-cam.com/video/xypf21mkhYs/v-deo.html
Needs a lens hood, otherwise seems to be cinematic
I was VERY pleased to see an f/22 version of the helios. There isn't much information about those. Do you know how rare they are? Thanks!
Have a great day
Please let me know The technical chart of the MIR 20Automat???
Hi!!! I got the MIR 20M and is the eye of God!!! It's amazingly beautiful flare amazingly beautiful Cine Look!!! And I have the Helios 51 Automat 50mm f2: it's a Bokeh Emperor!!!
I have also one fantastic sharp, color, contrast better than the nikon 50mm, but also the version f2 is very sharp and easy to find for 30 euro, the 1,4 it's a winning lottery to find one and can cost up 500 euro, I was lucky to get one for 120 euro with defektiv aperture but was easy to fix
2 questions please. 1. i have read that is needed to add a 2mm ring before the contax plate to get infinite focus 2. how to get rid the minimum distance focus of 0.8 from the contax rf plate ? thanks
projector "Leti 60" . lens F-92.
Where can I find some footage KMZ glass is great, would love to test one !
you can check my site (in description) but it's old. I posted recently photos made with this lens on the facebook group Soviet lenses.

Excellent!
I just posted a test footage from this lens, I couldn't find anything online except for this video. Great channel
I have just checked your video, nice to watch! But in fact, this lens is not cine version of the Mir-1, but TV version (for TV camera like KT-27 or KT-87). I have 3 of them, all with different hood. You may find additional infos in this video : ua-cam.com/video/Zo1oZiauxSQ/v-deo.html
@@sovietlenses1642 Thank you for your answer, there is not info online neither in youtube nobody talking about this lens, a real rarity. I will check that link and update the info. Thanks!
Eh bah c'etait super interressant
