Just found this video on a whim, and I’m so happy! I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts and this interesting perspective! I actually was pondering this but at first from art to love as I am an artist. I was thinking about how dark my art was and was it worth it to be in such a time but finding such beauty in the pain. It depends, it is intricate and personal to me. But even in that darkness I wasn’t thinking of “oh I should be better/healthier”, what I needed at the time was to feel everything. Sometimes that is terrible sometimes it is that pampering myself self-love. In hindsight I gain the tools to examine what may have been better but I can not say for certain my art could be as beautiful if I didn’t let myself sit with that darkness. Who truly knows? On the topic of love, yes it is such a spectrum of what it can encompass what intertwines with who we are at a certain time and those we meet then and who we become. Love is a medium to express ourselves, and such a spectacular one as it can create memories and influence our identities and such. It is truly amazing and so complex. It makes one think of the power of the human mind, simple the expression of life. Hope this made some sense, I’m a little scattered haha. Thank you for sharing!
