Our teacher preparation program in visual impairments program addresses special education for students who are blind or visually impaired with emphases on the expanded core curriculum, specialized evaluation and interventions including braille and access technology, and implementation of best practices in accessibility to provide equitable learning opportunities in core academic areas including STEAM. We are based in San Francisco and offer graduate and credential programs for new and returning teachers in synchronous online learning environments with on-campus Lab Weekends once per semester.
