"Herrljunga" is a film about coming home, going full circle and a group of lost friends who meet again after fifteen years gone from Herrljunga, a smalltown in Sweden. They are going to surprise their old friend Kalle Andersson on his birthday, only to find him dead. Frank, who is a film director decides to make a film with his friends as a tribute to Kalle about their young days to be screened at his funeral. They cast some local youth to play them. Past and present collide. Love, friendship, death and secrets come out.
