Dear sheikh, your title was words can hurt you. With all respect I don't know why do you insist to repeat in your lectures that wemon are deficient in their deen and wisdom. Despite your explanation of not looking down on people but it doesn't need to be too harsh on wemon and reminding them of how Allah created them. Although you said that many of wemon were higher in rank and level and closeness to Allah but the way you mentioned wemon isn't so pleasing and it hurts. May Allah guide all of us

Alhumdulilah i just got out of surgery and to hear this short reminder puts my life in perspective. May Allah bless this city of Philadelphia and make serious about meeting our Lord and serious about practicing the sunnah Ameen

I understand what you’re saying though if it’s not a religious holiday other than an Islamic holiday it’s okay to spend those days with your family and friends. It’s a part of our culture. Every country has its cultural traditions that aren’t based on religion so it’s alright to partake in a meal on non religious holidays with your family
