A channel made for those of us that enjoy collecting Hot Wheels, M2, Johnny Lightning, Matchbox, and any other form of Diecast. Based out of middle Tennessee, I most enjoy collecting Hot Wheels and love the hunt for Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts. I love that Mattel has designed a real-life scavenger hunt for us and the "grand prizes" only cost a buck! I am developing this channel after being laid off from my job in the automotive industry of 15 years due to Covid-19. I have a genuine love of cars and like enough different models and manufacturers that Hot Wheels lets me build my dream garage! See you on the next hunt!

@@JonToyCars I always feel the same way. I try to not let it bother me anymore. I started the channel to document MY hunts and I have to remind myself of that every now and then. Easy to compare to others out there.

@@themikeyfrisco I came across a picked over L case at Walmart yesterday. Still left with 6 cars and I counted it as a win. Finally got an extra of that Zamac Cobra so I can do a custom with it.
@@ferrisfindsdiecast saw a cobra but left it. IDK what’s happening in my area. Sometimes what’s left is what I’d expect; fodder that no one wants. Other times I still find TH and hot castings. It’s weird.
I need those civics n the VW trucks everyone takes these up for resale here sucks for a collector like me 😂

Thanks for watching out! I have picked up a couple of them, but leave most that I see. There is a Razor Crest chase that has been in one of my Targets for nearly a year now. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm pretty sure it's because I'm british, but the thought of asking a staff member if they have any cases out back and that I'd be willing to hang um if I can look through them makes me feel so... panicky? Or something akin to that. Like I'm being put on the spot. I've not even left the house yet and I'm all flustered. I'd bloody love to it though, so maybe I'll pull up my big boy pants and do it today while the wife's busy. And seeing that Mad mike drift proto on the peg, been after that for a long while now.
Thanks for watching and yes, it's awkward the first time. I definitely don't ask in every store. I have made a couple of good relationships with a couple of people though and I just want to help them out so I hang them up unless they specifically don't want me to. They don't hold anything for me and I wouldn't ask them to, but I now know what day of the week a couple of my stores get delivery trucks. I try to stop in soon after. BTW, I've been to the UK three times and love it. Good luck on that Mad Mike.
@@ferrisfindsdiecast thanks. Some good info. I did ask in a smaller store but their display was half a cases worth in an old Pokémon card display box hidden by the tills. Plus the worker wasn't the owner so couldnt do anything for me. Ah well. I'll keep trying.

😂 Yeah, I was! I have a small collection of Ryu Asada stuff and I really wanted to add that super to the collection. I figured this far into 2024 there was no chance of finding it anymore.

HUNT? So awesome. We have yet to find any tressure hunts or super tressure. We've been going morning and night when staff brings out the pallets. But not supers only thing we found was a decal missing.
