I have a global history teacher who listens to this band. He's honestly a great teacher. Easy work, good personality, good methods of educating us and sometimes play around and gives us nicknames. Lets everyone take a moment to applaud Mike on this performance. Its got to be incredibly hard to stay in tune while scatting and playing bass at the same exact time. I'm sure he isn't the biggest fan of playing this song but the show always must go on !

Another memorable shows being the 1st show that I went to añd i left and Fish came out dressed like Johnny Cash in black albeit Silk and way different than hiß dress.....And the slowest Runaway Jim and the Lighting Jam I could barely see through the rain let alone the lines.... wasting 15bucks on 2beers and having them ruined after waiting for them, having to spit off homeboys # because I was not 21 and all this watching people slide down the lawn then it's Mike's Song but with the gnarly almost devilish I tried to make it but alas had to roll. With Circus, Loving Cup Harry Hood to say the least if you ever need to leave try your best to not but at least if you do it won't be like you can't hear it....

Was an amazing weekend with Black Eyed Katy which morphed into the Moma Dance ... I was able to miracle yet another hater then they were so happy they definitely had a wonderful time.... outta the 6 different sets of Hampton shows this was #2 '98 #1 #3 '96 so yeah there's only been one shitty time thankfully I wasn't there but when they returned Tix were everywhere on the ground, trees, and I never thought that would ever happen especially at such a small an intimate venue....

Only time they ever played on my birthday...this was actually my 18th but I was still in High School.

Phish is a really amazing happenstance. For me the wave crested somewhere between Atlanta 96 Halloween at the Omni and New Years 2000 in the Everglades. Couldnt tell you where the Highwater mark is? Maybe all of it is the crest? But yeah, these were really artistic and uncharted waters tours for all of us in the audience and I'd like to think for the band as well. Thank you so much for those experiences and memories. Thanks to everyone that was there. However, In the words of Axel Rose, "nothin lasts forever". Im still a fan by all means. I still try to show Phish to whoever will listen....but its nothing like it was then. Theres a lot of music i enjoy more than Phish these days. But i wouldnt have it any other way. The shows are still a lot of fun. LcD Soundsystem is way more fun though. God Damn! I love music!!
