I'm kind of disappointed that you act like I know thing one about getting yarn on a needle. The things you said when you showed things at the first didn't mean anything to me,, But I'll figure it out and watch what you do, And do that. I'll figure out how to make agarment after that. I tried some learn how to knit Videos but they didn't always tell you what kind of nin there was and I only thought there was one kind so after a few failures because I didn't know there were different styles and kinds some types and interpretations, I just started looking at videos that had something pretty in the picture and found out a lot of those were wordless mostly Turkish women and Russians so I ended up learning Eastern knitting because I saw that that was the easiest way to get around compared to this thread throwing and the long needle levering, flicking, and Complicated PURLING! Since there were no words or it was in foreign language that was just too hard on my ears and I would turn down the volume, I would just watch and watch hours and hours on end and I just decided by Golly I'm just going to deal with they do and picked up some needles at the store 1 day... When I'm decided I'm just gonna learn all of the ways of knitting because I have trouble looking at 1 design that's being taught on a tutorial and translating it into Eastern because It sort of makes me dyslexic to try to figure out what that means in Eastern knitting. I mean My brain does flip-flops trying to figure out how to Tran slate it since I don't read patterns and I don't know what all the words are for the stitches and that's what was crazy making in the first place because I'm a CROCHETER first. Still can't even read those patterns because I don't know enough about how to figure out what to do next when they leave out a detail or if I don't know how to get from one stitch or 1 end of a row to turn it around to start the next row. I do appreciate your concise instruction, ❤ your diction. I subscribed to learn more. I will figure it all out by Golly, Dolly, or Lolly.

Thank you so much, I have been searching, and wrecking my brain trying to find the stitch pattern I had used to make a very nice scarf. The distinctive trait of it was part of the knit row was a tad lower, when you mentioned that fact I knew I had found the correct stitch pattern.

Most linen stitch patterns suggest casting on an odd number of stitches. Perhaps I missed this, but does your reversible linen stitch do the same? Ex Slip selvedge, (sl1 wyif, k1)* Slip selvedge, k1, (sl1 wyif, k1)* Slip selvedge, (sl1 wyib, p1)* Slip selvedge, p1, (sl1 wyib, p1)* Written instructions would be amazingly helpful. I’m trying to adapt the “Cerus scarf” by Hilary Smith Callis to be reversible

All you need is Cotton yarn size 4 US, Worsted/Aran UK and knitting needles size 4.5mm UK, size 7 US! Let me know how your knitting project goes!

Gentle suggestion: take a moment to look up the US equivalents and include them, not because the world does or should revolve around the US but because it is a large audience you can easily capture with this small kindness to include them. I’d say the same to a channel offering only US units (that metric should be included). This is a great first project!

what a beautiful bee-inspired stitch! the 6 row repeat and shifting lace from the alternating directions of knitting together stitches really gives it the feeling of hexagonal honeycomb. and i think dark lunch is a great name for a midnight snack
