There is definitely a recognition, like you know them and they also look familiar to you. There is also complete trust. You would trust them with your life, even if you do not trust others easily. I experienced many of that what you call "signs" with someone I thought who was my Twin. We parted and there was that intense pull which was almost addictive and obsessive. When we were together, though we spoke different languages because we are of different nationalities, we could complete each other's sentences. And we did sense each other's thoughts and feelings when we're far apart. But now that I've met my "true" twin, (after undergoing a lot of polishing and fine-tuning on myself), the feeling is very different. It does not sound like a romantic novel at all. There is no feeling of longing, no fear, no emotional gripping drama. There is only calmness and knowing, deep peace, respect and allowing. True unconditional love and a sense of similar purpose together. Service to humanity, it is, indeed.
