Is that autotune in her voice ?
Yes, very aggressive autotune. Also if you look at the very end (around 1:38) you can hear the bass and see the bass player isn't actually playing it. It's kinda well-known that South Arcade use a lot of backing tracks in their live shows but it seems like it's more extensive than most people realize.

@@NotSoNumb01 808 is a kick, not a bass guitar sample. I'm talking about the bass guitar sound which you can clearly hear playing even when the live player is not. Besides, it really doesn't matter what they used to create it, the point remains that most of what you hear during their live show is prerecorded and isn't actually played live. That doesn't mean the compositions wr bad or that you should stop liking them, but there is something disingenuous about it imo.
@@elbentzo It seems you don't understand what an 808 bass is. It is the most common form of bass used in electronic pop and hip hop music, and it is exactly what you are hearing here. An 808 is not simply a 'kick drum sample'. Every band uses backing tracks really, where do you think the keys and pads in this recording are coming from? They don't have a synth player, so why hire one for the gig when you can use a backing track? As long as the band are playing their instruments live and the singer is singing live, that is all that matters, if they enhance the experience with backing tracks including added vocals so what?
@@Mick-f4e Just googled the term ``808 bass", just to see if maybe I'm crazy and I actually don't know what an 808 is (even though I'm a professional musician and use it all the time). Went through every result on the first page, every single one of them confirmed it refers to Roland's drum machine, most often specifically to the kick (bass drum). From Wikipedia: ``The Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer, commonly known as the 808, is a drum machine manufactured by Roland Corporation between 1980 and 1983". Also, *NOT* every band uses backing tracks. You have no idea what you're talking about. And why hire a player when you can just use a backing track? Well, why play at all? Why sing when you can just hit ``play" on your Spotify single which you recorded? Because some people care about live music and realize it's much more intense when it's performed live. And it doesn't magically stop being true for keyboards. It's true for all instruments. Like I said above, if it's just a couple of notes in a song or two, it's no big deal because for most bands it's financially unreasonable to hire a new player for that. But if it's a significant part of your music, and if you have an ounce of integrity and care about people who pay for *A LIVE SHOW,* then yes, you can hire a session player. Stop shilling and stop talking about stuff you haven't the faintest clue about. Edit: spelling.
