Hi. I replicated a meg and was unsuccessful. But I never continued it after learning about the issues. Don't over saturate the core. There is a reason bearden used ceramic and not neodymium. The core needs to be just under saturation And beware. If wired like others have there will be extreme EM fields generated and dangerously HV. Use caution and have a plan to reduce voltage via a step down transformer... or other means.

@@heliarc5186 Thank you for reply and tips :) I recently got introduced to an electrical engineer in the town I live in (Bergen, Norway) that has made a MEG with a cop of 1.7 (not huge cop but still very exciting). He ran into some problems with transistors getting destroyed, replacement parts have arrived and I hope we can get it up and running again together in July. And after I started taking about this to people I have been told several stories about people knowing a relative/friend/coworker that has made similar machines , but either they won’t talk about it anymore/won’t show it to outsiders or they have been told by Norwegian police agents not to go any further with this and scared them off (i don’t know if this is true but it was what i was told, I find it hard to believe this would happen in norway). I have been interested in this field since I was young , have a degree as an electronics technician but switched field to neuroscience and haven’t worked with electronics in 20 years. I am struggling with the schematics and theory , but trying to learn and relearn to understand the concepts. Because the pendulum was just a proof of concept and for experimentation. There are a few practical applications but not many. Plus most the world runs on battery's so finding an energy efficient way to charge them would be way better to focus on then large pendulum machines. From my understanding the Motor/Generator designs do exactly as you suggest.
