this video is great!
Good capture 👏
clunky gearbox
Nice video ! Is Just Jane airworthy and any idea when it actually will fly ?
It’s currently in year 7 of a 10 year project to get her airworthy so 🤞in 3 years time 😊
@@78jota Thank you very much for your answer. I'm looking forward to see her fly.
@@knubbes100 10 years is a loose estimated, If you search for Neville Wheeldon here on youtube, he dose a weekly video update of the project. He`s currently on 250+ videos.
Dear sir. I found the channel and it"s very interesting. I will watch it on a regurly basis. I am 65 and in the last year of the war my father fullfilled his militaty service with the RAF. The south of the Netherlands was free at that time, but we had no army, so he was send to England. Later he was always talking about his time in England and planes. He was an excellent drawer . He made many drawings of WW2 airplanes including 3 drawings of the AVRO Lancaster. Thank you very much for your reply.
just jane is going to be flying once it gets a air worthy certificate
Britain has an Airworthy Lancaster and one that can move under its own power but not fly ! And Canada has the same , 1 that can fly from Hamilton Ontario and one that can move under its own power in Nanton Alberta > oh and at present 5 are currently undergoing restoration in Canada as we marvel at this great plane
Very nice
What a beautiful sound!
Obviously a Not a racing rider, shuts off a week too early and doesn't know how to brake or use the gears,, keep trying 😂😊 ps I had scores of wins at Cadwell 😊
Your were flying Ian!!! Well impressed
Proper job. 😎
👌
Awesome great bikes wish they were mine. Enjoy and i enjoy your racing videos.
Thank you Johan 😊👍
Nice to see Sir, stock gear box?,issues gearing??,,much potential keeping speed and revs more close to turns and using breaks , instead of ease on the throttle ,,,maintain speed!😁👍
Thanks, yes stock gearbox and clutch. I tuned it and put in Wossner pistons, 105 bhp at the back wheel 😊
@@78jota 😁👍some say that a GS 750 is the right one to put in these engines to get a better driver experiance
Great to see and hear these big strokers back on track every now and then, brilliant.
brilliant
Awesome engine stayed toghether after missed shift.so it seems it will happy at 10 000 all day long
Awesome nice to see it rev to 9k
Nice One Ian
good sound!
In 1975 I was working for a Suzuki dealership in Ohio. We were some of the first to port and pipe 750 Water Buffies. In stock porting they were tractor motors with lots of bottom end. I test rode the very first " 750 Sport Bike " we did. The thing was dead on bottom end ! No power at all!! Barely move off the line. I got so pissed I wacked it to 7,000 and just dropped the clutch. Now it really went no where !! "Crap the clutch must be shot !" Then I noted all the other mechanics that were watching had these super big grins on their faces as this monstrous cloud of tire smoke engulfed me. Man I love the sound of the those carbs when the 750 is on the pipes !! We hurt the feelings of a lot of Kaw 900 folks on the freeways that year. Thanks for bringing back those memories.
ok your nuts. way to fast
I will send you a block. Port my motor. I want that.
damn buffys are heavy. But the power. I'm learnin'
dude 8900 rpm??? and passin' ...ok...ok
ok you know red line is 7000 right?
that's a buffy on his tail. The three carb hollow gives in away. Many a late night all alone. Just me and my machine singing. chasing a dream. Expect for the ceramic brake chatter. Or I could be air cooled. Then I am lost.
What's the chase bike? Also two stroke is my guess.
it's just a 2 stoker.....good luck........
that is a high compression motor.... 2 strokes don't do that....do they ...?
Standard compression
now we are in the hunt
that' some DAMN good drivin'. Saved the tire early in the run......got to have good brakes...........
Thank you
who build this motor?? I have tried to make a Suzuki 750 sing like this for 40 years of my life. Knew the motor had it in it..........
Thank you, built the motor myself and got the porting off the internet
@@78jota If I may ask, who's pistons did you use?
Also do you have any pics of the entire bike in race trim?
@@BrokenPortriats I do but I can't attach pictures here unfortunately.
@@BrokenPortriats I use Wossner Pistons
Oh shit 😂 😂 😂
TWO Honda 6's... passed Dennis Bunning at 3:00 right up behind me at 7:45
Hi Thanks for posting this... It was a lot of fun. I noticed that you passed me on my little 297cc Honda 6 at 9:43. Just curious as to the level of sound coming from the back of my little bike. Was it noticeably louder than most of the other bikes? I was holding revs to 15,000 on the straights in the interest of not doing something horrible to the engine!
Hi Peter, yes, great fun and great to see you and a Honda Six out on track. To be honest, on track I hardly heard it, the most noticable sound was as you pulled out of the pits. I purposly followed you down the staight but as I say, hardly heard it.
There were actually two Honda 6's on track, but Dennis on the other one only did a couple of laps. I think I did 8 on Saturday and a few less on Sunday... was really using it as a shakedown before the IoM lap on 26th... just as well because the engine needed to be stripped to replace a gearbox shim after Donington. Huge fun anyhow... huge disparity in the speed capability of some of those bikes and one guy fell off right in front of me at Starkeys!
@@peterg2yt I'll be there so I'll come and say hello :-)
I’m not putting the bike on display in the paddock (or we can’t move to work on the race bikes), but look for Fox Classic Racing and Louigi Moto
peterg2yt Ok Peter, thanks, I’ll look out for you 😊👍
