Приєднався 23 жов 2022
Abstract artist based in the village of Wookey Hole, near the city of Wells, in Somerset, south-west England. My art pieces are inspired by nature, such as the oceans and the forests, and are created using acrylic paints and mica pigments, finished with epoxy resin or varnish on canvas, wooden boards, and aluminium panels.

how long does it take before the colors show up fully?
Hi Bonnie, Amsterdam pearl colours are almost indistinguishable from each other when wet, but then the colours start to appear once the paint starts to dry.
Me gusta esta hermosa 😍
Muchas gracias!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Thank you, 3dlovely!
Even though it's a quick video, the captions are an excellent guide. Beautiful❤

Thanks, Patrice! 👍

Thanks very much and welcome!
Wonderful work, thank you 😊
Thanks very much, Lee Anne 😊
IreI refuse to watch a video if you cannot say what you are mixing with your paints. It becomes useless to me. Moving on.
No matter how many videos you watch about acrylic painting you’ll always see something you’ve never seen before. And say to yourself “why didn’t I think of that?” Looks awesome!
Thanks, Johnny. I agree -- there's always an artist somewhere doing something interesting in art -- I myself also often feel inspired by other artists on YT. Cheers!
Amazing,lol.Looks great!
Cheers, Frank!
LOVE the outcome. I did a Pearlescence piece today. 😊

Very pretty!
Thank you
Stunning!❤
Thanks Lisa
Very Nice!! I Love the marble effect. Its so fun to watch ! Great job ! Love the finished piece.
Thank you, Pamelar!
Why would you stop it there? Make it go off the edge! Sorry, but that was sad.
What’s sad is your comment. Just shut up and enjoy the video. Eyeroll
The purpose of not letting the marble go off the edge right away is to keep the flow of the movement going. If you let the marble drop off every time you get to an edge you'd have to clean it each time you put it back on the wet paint. Guess a new clean marble could be used if you let it drop off each time but part of the fun in the marble roll is to make designs without letting it roll off.
Awesome! I love these paints and have done a few with them. This is s creative with the marble. Love it! 👍🏼👌🏼👏🏻
Love love love
Beautiful ! Compare the results when you mix the colours one day before. 😉

So gorgeous!! I love the marble. This would be cool as a black & white Well done! 😍🙌🏼
Thanks, Melodie! Yes, indeed, black and white could quite work well together -- pearl white + black background. 👍😊
Very beautiful! I love the way the colors dry so lovely together. You’re really good at these artistic designs 😍🙌🏼
Thanks so much, Melodie! 🙂🙏
Super cool Paul. Very appreciative to be the proud recipient 🙏
Beautiful colors and painting. I see you removed part of the petals on the right side. Good composition. It would have been nice to see you do that too. Just a very beautiful relaxing painting to look at. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for your comments, Tammie. Yes, I painted around some of the petals on the right-hand side in the white background colour to improve the composition and for consistency with the other sides. I don't always record the final steps putting the finishing touches, but I might do so in future.
Gorgeous
Thank you, Isabelle. It's one of my favourites 😊
Beautiful. Thankyou for mentioning my channel.
Thanks for mentioning me for my botanical technique
Most welcome, Tina. Your beautiful pieces and techniques inspired Rinske Douna, and they have inspired me, so thank you for sharing your techniques with the global art community! Warm regards. Paul

Hello talented one, how beautiful! I am filled with joy when I come to your channel. Let’s walk side by side on this UA-cam journey. Just joined you. Hoping to see you soon, much love, Marie-Louise from Cornwall, UK ❤️🙏
Thanks, Marie-Louise. Sending you positive vibes from Somerset.
Hello, this painting is absolutely gorgeous but I really do wished that you would share more information. The colors? The recipe? What base paint do you use? Is it housepaint or acrylics? Is the mixture thicker than a regular Dutch pour.? Thank you it really is beautiful
Thanks, Ronda. Base colour: Amsterdam Standard Series acrylic Titanium White, mixed with water only, slighter thicker-than-normal Dutch pour consistency. Pour colours (slighter thicker-than-normal Dutch pour consistency) as follows: (1) "Light Sea Green" (a mixture of Amsterdam Standard Series acrylic "Phthalo Green" + "Titanium White"); (2) Amsterdam Standard Series acrylic "Phthalo Green"; (3) Winsor & Newton acrylic "Dark Turquoise"; (4) Winsor & Newton acrylic "Winsor Blue"; (5) Amsterdam Standard Series acrylic "Olive Green Light"; (6) Pebeo acrylic "Iridescent Gold".
This is my botanical Dutch pour technique that I created. I use house interior for my base layer. Did you find me on UA-cam? You did not mention where you were inspired Rinske and I did a collab and has been doing these on her channel since she was inspired by my art. Come check out my pieces.
These are great Paul. Very impressive
Cheers, Mark 😀
