@@KurosakiDanteK no it wasn't, it was in Livingston Houston industrial estate, me and my family's business burned down during the middle of our working day so there was a lot of panic. Something to do with the paint shop to the side of us but we still don't know what happened. I really appreciate that man! That's why I set up the channel, just to meet more anime and gaming friends :D

It's an incredible piece, I was hesitant myself and yeah it has a few minor issues here and there but it's awesome! I really do hope they make the rest of at least a few more of class 1A or the league of villains

@@TheJosuecivic yeah that would be a rather deep rabbit hole if they went down that route. Personally I'd love an early days happy looking Deku, there's a lot of the vigilante Deku pieces out there and not much else

@@gameoverjak2029 i figure it out. Basicially on yami's knee there a battery container with a lid and u wud have to slide it down carefully to open it to acess the battery

@@XScarletVenomX that's great news that you figured it out! Took me a while to figure stuff out on that one myself, especially the head LEDs, one of my heads came without LEDs as well which was disappointing

@@Foxhound_Veteran very true, thankfully none of mine were broken which was surprising but I can absolutely see how they would break in transit! Have you reached out to the retailer or was it a clean break at least?

@@gameoverjak2029I will do that this evening. It was not a clean break, in fact, I could not find all the pieces. The one one piece I found was about half the size of what was there originally. It is one of the spikes at the center aswell, so it is plenty visible. Will write and see what they say.

@@Foxhound_Veteran hopefully they should be able to help you out, certain the studio would know that this statue would be prone to breaks. Let me know how you get on!

@@RaitoShin_Resin absolutely! I missed the Hoenn set and I'm still kicking myself but PPAP and Egg are killing it with the Pokémon pieces, I just wish they would give me a Wooper family piece haha!

@@gameoverjak2029 PPAP and EGG is killing all other studios with his Pokémon statues. Normally the could easy get the licens in my opinion.

@@RaitoShin_Resin they absolutely could, I haven't seen other studios doing the quality they have been putting out, even the Wasp Red wasn't up to their quality. Have you seen PPAP's new one? Went up for preorder yesterday :D

Yeah, it took a long while to show up but I think it arrived around the same time as 3 other statues so it got sidelined for upload. One of their best but a few minor issues I've found, but thankfully not a single break on this one surprisingly :o Paid Champion Ash's invoice yesterday :D can't wait!

@@gameoverjak2029 What problems have you had? Where did you buy the ash? I haven't been asked for payment yet, me and my friends bought them in kaioland.

@@fixitasfixas4829 It's not necessarily issues with the statue itself, more like issues with the scaling, if you put Brock and Misty together, or even Giovanni, Brock looks tiny in comparison, even though he's crouching. Geodude is also a little on the small side. And I'm still wondering why there's no Croagunk haha! But I think they've stopped both Misty and Brock at the Hoenn region team, so no idea. I got my pieces through FNC, hoping Ash ships soon considering how long it takes to get to the UK now

@@gameoverjak2029 oh ok, I understand, it doesn't bother me, but you're right LOL I'm glad that they have asked for the final payment already in FNC, I imagine that as in Spain it has been a holiday Thursday, they will have taken a holiday, let's hope that tomorrow they ask us for the payment so that Ash arrives as soon as possible!

Yeah, the news absolutely broke my heart, even more so when I saw the image from Boss Logic. Misty's statue has a whole new light to me now

Hahaha! Never heard it referred to as a skid mark but that's pretty accurate! The blades are made of metal, at least I'm certain they are because they definitely have some weight to them, so much so that I'm unsure if the magnet will hold them over time

The faces look much better in person but I got the lighting the best I could but I'll make sure it's perfect for the reviews :) not sure when they'll be but I'll try to get them done as soon as possible. The inlay on the coat is insane, it was one of the first things I noticed when I unboxed it, just crazy detailed!

@@gameoverjak2029 Looking forward to it man. What do you think about the hair colour ? Better than the DMC 5 versions ? Or are you still considering getting them repainted to a more white silver ?

@@KurosakiDanteK so the hair colour is odd under certain lights but under my cabinet lights it doesn't look bad, Vergil's looks better than Dante's for sure but that might be because his hair is shorter. I would say that the DMC5 hair isn't the best either, especially Dante (DMC5) in comparison. I would probably discuss with a painter about it before making a decision though because there are many different shades that could be an option for it...so in short, it's really difficult to say haha!

@@gameoverjak2029 Maybe they prefer making it that way, instead of direct white, because it shows dust and marks more ? Do you have any recommendations for the best way to clean the figures? What cleaner to use/ Avoid.?

@@KurosakiDanteK that was my thinking too, I know that the DMC5 pieces pick up dust very easily and it's quite visible especially on Dante because his hair's flatter so you could be right! I was actually considering making a video about statue cleaning, short version is - use make up brushes, no chemicals and no condensed air cans. You can use mini air blowers but make sure not to use them on small loose parts because they could push them off :)

I have the set from DMC5 myself, they still look great! I have Vergil in hand, I was meant to upload the video on Wednesday but there was an incident at my work and everything's sort of up in the air right now, hoping to have it up eventually but finding the time to edit is quite difficult right now. I can confirm that they both look fantastic though!

@@gameoverjak2029 Awesome man, can't wait. Do you remember how much you had to pay at customs ? If anything. I heard they can have a 20-25% fee for coming into the country ? Any damages ? I stay in Paisley and I had a few damages to my DMC 5 Dante, minor though. I bought mine in UK so didn't have any fees. My new ones are Prime but

@@KurosakiDanteK I think they were roughly 20% on customs each. I haven't been charged for the two new ones yet but no doubt they'll send the letter out eventually haha! They're fantastic pieces, they were some of the first pieces I reviewed on the channel funnily enough. What was the damage you had on your Dante?

@@gameoverjak2029 One of the claws fingers snapped and the bolt action bar on the Kalina Ann snapped. I'd bought that one second hand. I should have just bought it brand new. The guy put a few pieces in the wrong slot dor the foam holder and parcel force smashed it about . I'm surprised they didn't make you pay before releasing them, or at the door. They've done that to me before. I do a lot of martial arts and bought a hand forged replica of DMC5 Yamato. Had to pay a lot in customs fees. Worth every penny but

That sucks man, was the Kalina Anne one of the pieces you planned to display it with? Funnily enough, I do these unboxings so that people don't make the mistake of putting parts in the wrong place, that's why I open the video with the top downs of the packing, that really sucks though. There are a good few repairers that could fix those issues for you though :) That's awesome! Would love to see something like that, my old flatmate had the War blade from Darksiders, it was his pride and joy :) I think they didn't charge right away because it was a business address, which of course is now gone but I'll figure that out later haha!

@@gameoverjak2029I’m on payment plan, but tempted to just pay it off sooner to get it here too. How’s the hair, looks like it has fluorescent shine to it. I’m considering to get mine repainted in the natural silver white.

@@NiceGuyUA-cam that's fair, I was going to put them on the payment plan when I got the notification but decided against it because I was too excited haha! The hair is metallic silver, I think I'll be doing the same thing and getting the heads repainted to the silver white. I just need to find a good place in the UK for it :)

@@Glenn-vz5xx Thank you for watching it! Glad to see another DMC collector :) Yeah I agree there, it does seem a little off but kind of works on the closed mouth ones. I can confirm that the hair on them is silver and metallic looking, which I found really disappointing, might look into getting it repainted. I think the issue with the plastic is down to the lighting, in person they don't look plastic like, but if a warm light is used they definitely look plastic and phone cameras don't pick them up too well either. It does look much better in person and when I do the reviews for both I'll be sure to get the lighting perfect for the close ups to illustrate that :) Personally the body of the DMC3 pieces are better for me because it's more vibrant with the colours but that's obviously down to the aging of the character between the games. But the hair is a low point, mine came with a break on the open mouth one and the silver is not great, Square-Enix done the same thing for their Sephiroth and Riku bring arts/play arts and it looked awful there. Sorry for the long reply but I'll definitely cover all of it in a full review :)

@@totalfootball9198 I get them from a fair few places, some come directly from the studios, some are through FNC, then there's the licensed pages and more recently I've purchased from StatueCorp and Favor GK. All depends on what you're looking for :)
