So i have a cold air intake and a canister resonator with stock mufflers, once in a blue moon ill hear a gargle where the the old resonator is located. Is that normal?
Appreciate the effort but I’ll just buy an exhaust system.
Nice job bro 👍 miss my 2012 TL straight pipe setup
Did this car sit in a lake or something 😂
4:25 4:37
Damn! That’s dope! Can u do my car? Hahaha
My brother...decent video, but for those of us who are novices at this thing, you could have told us which way to turn the resonator. On mine I notice there are a number of tiny holes/grooves pointing one way inside of my new steel resonator. Which way should it turn?
👍
sTaGe 3 eXhAuSt: stock exhaust with MuFfLeR dElEtE
Any dash lights come on? After install computer issues?
I just cut off both mufflers on my 2001 Acura TL and I'll be replacing the Mid muffler with a Cherry bomb 🤘
I started skipping through the video when you were yelling into the pipe, and every time I clicked ahead to a part where you were again yelling into the pipe. Crying laughing right now.
Would have went with chrome tips like 3 inches or 4, cuz the stock TL tail pipes are ugly to me. That square looking thing lol
Nothing exotic cuz I can't belive acura shoved 3 cats, a resonator and 3 mufflers on this. That v6 is choking lol
I was thinking of cutting out my 3rd cat cuz no 02 sensors and Mines leaking then remove the mid muffler, leaving the 2 cats up.top, resonator and 2 actual mufflers with the tips. Maybe give it alittle more growl cuz I'm getting a nice deep tone from the v6 already but some more airflow be good??? No?
I did this to my 07 mdx. It is loud but not obnoxious. It sounds good but isnt a car magnet. Great cheap mod
I really appreciate the video! I’m not gonna DIY it but every other video seems to have a resonator delete or complete straight pipe and I wanted to just do mid and rear mufflers. Can’t wait to take her into the exhaust shop
Some cars just don’t sound right done like this… But this one sounds nice…(has me thinking about molesting our MDX)
Thsi guy explains everything just perfect to understand should keep uploading vids on your car I love them!
I got one and thought it was loud but I thought it was stock but after seeing this I know now I don’t have the two last mufflers
That's what I thought 🤔 a straight pipe setup 😂 should be with at least one resonator this 📸 was very useful by the way sounds awesome 🤩🤩😎😊😎😎
So if u just drill holes in my exhaust will I get the same result 🤔
Can they clean air force 1s?
Would this work the same for a stock 2003 3.2TL?
Sounds like my 370z so that's what those things do. Guess I'll take those off
what size are those inlets 2.25 or 2.5
Sounds ok. I think deleting rear mufflers was enough. Now it sounds distorted. To each his own.
Cool! Those mig welds are better than mine! 😂
👍🏾
I was thinking about leaving stock resonator and get bigger tips
Thank you very much. You have pointed me in the direction I’m going to go Monday with my TL yeah that new resonator did the trick to top it off!
This is perfect. Finally a video showing exactly what I’m gonna be working on next
Congratulations on becoming Billionaire.
Or use dw40 in the plastic thing and it will come out easy
mine is a chrysler 300 2012 v6 with x-pipe , catless, no mid mufflers and only 2 final mufflers.... but too raspy as yours before..... do you think i adding 2 resonators in mid after X would get the same result ? stop the metallic sound ?
I’ll literally just pay you 500$ to make my car sound like that. Plz
Excellent video man, I've been looking into possibly buying a v2 j pipe, looking to get a little performance and make my '06 TL 6MT sound better as well and I already have a cold air intake... And of course I wanted to do it without going broke... This helped me a lot... Thank you sir
You're correct you're not the best welder. welding upside down under a car not easy , so I got to give you some credit
So this was just a mid a rear muffler delete ?
Not sure if you still have the car but if you do, delete that 3rd cat, they don't have o2 sensors in the 3rd cat so they won't throw a code, and wake the car up, and definitely make it louder. I did something similar to you but I have a magnaflow for the resonator and rears and its not all that loud
does resonator placement matter? example i have no secondary cats, or mufflers, should they go in place of the cats or the mufflers or does it even matter?
I heard that it's a better as far as way from the muffler as possible for most cars being right under the passenger seats under the car
Like how e doesng even think of blocking front tires even though front wheel drive and shouldnf roll anywhere but just safe practice though
Holy heck. First time dropping by. The car sounds into the muffler got me good. Insta-like.
Sounds like I’ll be finding a resonator and some pipe for a straight pipe. Lowkey I wanna weld my exhaust into 2 going out the sides. That’d be cool
Sounds exactly the same but slightly louder.
That sounds nice bro 👍
Tie wire! The best exhaust hanger ever lol
Welding in slippers. He got balls of steel. Probably weld them in too! Cool video bro😎

In the beginning of your video my car is having that raspy rocks in a can sound how do I fix it
Vibrant ultra-quiet resonator or get a stock resonator
@@Luminous.Dynamics Would you say there's is much differnce between stock res, and a Vibrant ultra-quiet?
@@davoroxi Id say using the factory resonator is more efficient, its designed for that specific car. Some cars didnt come with any factory res from the factory, so Id use the ultra quiet then. Or if using way bigger pipe than factory.
@@Luminous.Dynamics Okay thank you, I took both my stock res out, and replaced them with a single one the the muffler shop had. I find it slighty to raspy in the higher end, so I'm wondering weather to buy a custom resonator or not.
@@davoroxi If you replaced them with a smaller aftermarket or short resonator, its probably not doing much. If youre using stock sized piping, you can put factory resonators back on to eliminate rasp. Unless you wanna try an ultra quiet which is better than most resonators too
