HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS! Thank you Lindsey for keeping me company! I thoroughly enjoy watching what you have made, and to hear of the makes you want to do on your 'to do' list! I have such a loooonnng list of 'want do dos' for this year and at the top is to learn how to knit socks! I have watched your videos and others but still cant get the hang of them! but I am determined! I haven't even seen or felt a handmade sock! Also I too am a lover of 'coolcrafting' I visited last year for the first time and left my dear husband in a nearby cafe for nearly 2 hours! Enjoy whatever you have on your needles or sewing, keep smiling! see you soon xxx

Hi Lindsay I really enjoy your videos. Sorry to hear that your Mum has been ill, I hope she recovers soon. Please keep doing your videos when you can, I really enjoy seeing all your makes. You have inspired to get back into my cross stitching. Good idea to keep a record of your progress. I have a crochet project diary to keep track of my makes but like yourself I will record all my crafts, I knit crochet and now cross stitch too. Your secret santa gift is very you , lovely . I think Suzie did the Grimblewood gnomes last year too. They're quite cute. Gorgeous socks yarns, I'm fairly new to knitting socks I just do plain socks at the moment. The pins are T pins for blocking

They are T pins .. used for blocking out knitting .. usually with a foam blocking mat x

I haven't done the Christmas rules yet but I have done the Hive and Autumn rules and they are lovely. Love your nails.

I managed to sit very still to listen to you! 😂 Your quilted stocking is absolutely beautiful and what an amazing collection of hand knitted socks! I haven’t knitted many socks this year - about six pairs, I think.

It’s the Persian tiles by Janie crow, and yes I’ve got the yarn to make it. I’ll talk to you about a swap, I was thinking maybe do something different. Maybe a toy/ mouse swap.

I will look forward to seeing your small panda Lindsey. I would consider an advent swap if I think I could fill one. I’ve had to have a yarn calendar with year because I can’t never find minis. I think I understand the pattern, I suppose all will become clear as I get to each stage. I’ve only ever made human socks with fish kiss heel, or whatever it’s called. Gorgeous socks.
