It's great you made it to Natural Bridge in Oregon. The Oregon Coast is an absolute treasure. Hannover sounds like a weird first city to visit in Europe as 15 of the world‘s 20 greatest cities are in Europe and Hannover isn‘t one of them. But, actually Hannover is not a bad choice as it is a city that is very typical European and very average at it, so it will give you a great baseline expectation for everything else. Other options for great but average European cities: Cluj Napoka, Porto, Lyon, Basel, Krakow.

@@a-muse6567 hi! We spent one full day in Joshua Tree staying the night in the town closest to the park Twentynine Palms, CA. The next morning we drove to LA and saw some of the highlights before our flight home that evening. So it looked something like this: -Friday evening: fly to LA, drive an hour inland -Saturday: Continue to JT, see JT, night in 29 Palms -Sunday: Drive to LA, see highlights, fly home This worked out for us because we’ve mostly seen LA before, but I would definitely schedule more time here if you’ve never seen it and would like to spend more time here. Hi @yarddogjones3914, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand that we may have different views on the age of Devil's Tower and the Earth. My intention was never to cause frustration or discomfort, but rather to share information as I understand it. It's important for us as Christians to communicate with love and patience, especially when discussing topics that can be divisive. A non-Christian reading our exchange might become more resistant to our message if they sense anger or defensiveness. We can share our beliefs without creating barriers. When you wrote your comment, did you believe it would help change my perspective? Sometimes, a gentle approach can be more effective in encouraging meaningful dialogue. If you're interested, here's an article that discusses different views on the age of the Earth within the Christian community: www.christianity.com/wiki/bible/how-old-is-the-earth.html (you may need to copy and paste; I'm not sure if links work in UA-cam comments). It explores various perspectives, which might be enlightening for both of us. There are a lot of unanswered questions for us as humans. We cannot know it all; frankly we really should not want to know it all. But we can have faith in the One who does. There are a lot of unknown details which the Bible does not provide straightforward answers, and that is okay. At the end of the day, the most important message that it does clearly provide is that of the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and was resurrected, offering salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven and reconciled to God. And that this gift of grace is available to everyone, inviting us into a loving relationship with God. Have a good day, Rachel

I'm disappointed that you didn't like Mt Rushmore, You should have gone to the evening lighting ceremony.

Ah well yeah; I didn’t dislike it, but I was definitely underwhelmed by it. I’m glad I saw it though. And definitely would have loved to see the evening lighting ceremony!

Howdy. I am really digging the two photo thumbnails, and the voice-over narration. And thanks for keeping it real: opening with the train experience. I really appreciate that.

It's pronounced 'Grin-de-Vald, not Grindewald. The W in German and many other languages is pronounced like the English 'V'.

We stayed at the prefab motel in Borders and thought it great! The wind turbines were an eyesore. The cave and Mt. Wheeler were great as well.

I believe it took me somewhere between 2-3 hours, but I did spend some extra time to get to the vantage point when most people make the lake itself their turnaround point
