Honestly this was the most fun I've had all campaign. I've really enjoyed problem solving this turn and feeling like my units actually had applicatiions. too often I feel like I just build armies for auto resolve.

    How complex is this game compared to Gladius?

      I've not played Gladius but after a quick watch of a youtube on it, I would say its more complicated. It's got a lot more variety with alot more to learn as different races play differently, but its nothing you can't get used to and the game does a good job of pushing you the right direction. I've been playing this game since Total War: warhammer 1 which was years ago. Its a great game that has been my primary source of entertainment for ages. The only negative thing is that for the whole experience its reliant on DLC, its never been that bad at £4-12. its felt correctly priced...except for the last one but the community kicked off about that and without going into detail, its sorted.

    is there a point to mushrooms in this game ? cause I get damage or a debuff 9 times out of ten.
