Surprise Guest while Gas’n & Graph’n on Lake Lanier.
I fished allatoona last Sunday water temp was between 44+-49 degrees and I threw every color but red. Green pumpkin jig, shad color crank, shad color flat, blue back herring crank, fire tiger square bill, green pumpkin worm.never got a single bite. I kept coming across this red small deep diving crank bait (it’s really a crappie crank)and never threw it. Now I’m wanting to go so bad just to throw red.
Your face when he threw the swim bait was priceless. Like really? I got you in the boat, that’s all that matters 👊
Awesome and very helpful cold water tips Tim Thanks for the video and all the good juice and I would like to get a few bag of them worms from you if I could …I order a lot with Danny at fish north ga
Did you find what the issue was? Mine is doing the same thing 2020 Nitro Z19
@@andrewharborth8292 sorry for the late response. Yes! It was a bad control button panel. Was covered under warranty.
is this the lake that’s good for crappie and bream ? idk one to fish tomorrow
@@kaelinglover9239 yes!
Maybe consider to shorten the time of that intro.
I got some plum apple trick worms to try. I caught 4 bass and missed a nice one. I got 0 bites on green pumpkin today. 😮
@@matthall8378 something about purple that Bass like! Especially Spotted Bass! Thanks for watching & Commenting!
@@t_mcguireoutdoors That Zoom plum apple looks more like a redbug and glows red in the sun. I got 2 on the candy bug today which is junebug purple. The water was a lil off color so I gave that a try. Im always looking for more colors that work. Green Pumpkin, Black and Black with red glitter trick/finesse worms have worked for me also.
I watch youtube because I'm sick to death of tv companies overproducing their shows to a point that it's frikkin annoying as hell. Kinda becoming trendy as hell on here. Remember when trendy was an insult? Back when originality was still important??? Ffs
@@redeyestones3738 Me &’my cohorts at Fish North Georgia try to keep it real. We maybe guilty of a lil “clickbait” on the thumbnails etc… but staying honest with info! Thanks for watching and commenting.
I have an H2O Express Evo spinning rod, it’s the medium light, 6-12lbs. I really really like it. I know it’s more of a bass rod but I mainly use mine inshore for Reds, Speckled Trout, and Snook on the flats and I absolutely love it. It’s really lightweight and easy to cast all day with. Also strong enough to handle slot and over slot Reds and medium sized Snook. I haven’t caught any Bull Reds with it yet, but I’m confident it’ll handle them on the flats just fine
Any tip/tactics for fishing from the banks
The wobble head can be thrown out and worked back up on Rocky or hard bottom areas. So can the shaky head.
Хорошая рыбалка, привет из России
i just found you and i looked at your page and I really like your content keep it up bro
good stuff Tim! And oh man, do I love using a wobble head at night!
I remember that
I got a worm in abag, try it in the morning
Let us know if it made a difference!
You know it!!! Click bait!! Awesome!! The new Jake Paul - entertainment!
your intro take too longggg
Lesson learned (but we already knew) ALWAYS check and change the flouro leaders. They DO become frail over time. Unfortunately I've "learned" it a few times over. LOL I was using straight mono - 8lb for this set up. I'm still learning the wacky rig, and I also have a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with flouro line. Also will be buying a good supply of those Owner hooks you were using. They are far superior for this style fishin.
The velcro on the strap wears out to where it won't hold. Mine did after 3 years. Might be a problem if you need to remove old strap and install a new one.
nice vid T! I absolutely love taking my riverhawk on Lanier , creeping around the banks for beds. Always catch and release. To me it’s so fun cat/mouse with them. Sometimes harder than others depending on the mood. Last spring I got an8lb LM mid lake! Nothing near that yet this yr! I got out a few hrs last week, got lucky and went 6 for 6 on beds. some took longer than others of course. I always have a good wacky tied on, but 90% of time I have most luck with tiny trd Bugz w/ewg ned head. It’s tiny and not intrusive at all! Can’t wait for shad spawn coming soon!
I've been to Rocky every weekend since the first of Febuary, and it's tougher than I ever recall. Lucky to put two in the boat most daysthis year. Think we flat skunked at least once.We gave up and went to Allatoona Saturday and caught some of those little spots just to prove we still knew how to put some fish in the boat. LOL! Thursday's Livewell was by far the best episode yet. Hope to see you out there soon!
Rocky can be a tough little lake to fish for sure! Thanks for riding along! See ya on the water!!!
WOW, great vid, what size and brand of worm were you using, njoyed it 🎣
I was using Bass Pro Shops standard stick worm 5” Green pumpkin, blue flash, on an Owner 1/0 wacky worm hook. Diawa 7,2 medium fast tip spinning rod with Braid/flouro 15/10
@@t_mcguireoutdoors Kool My Brother, I do have those, THANK YOU for your time on the water to make ME a better fisherman, I’m getting ready for my BFL tournament, next weekend on Sinclair, appreciate you , THANKS again for responding and sharing 🎣
I was throwing a Zman ZinkerZ Cali-craw. Sinks good and works great until you catch a couple fish, then the salt gives way and it just floats to the top. Weird bait and definitely not my favorite z-man bait. BUT, once it becomes to light and loses salt it can be used with weighted heads and still be effective. I prefer YUM Dingers for the wacky rig set up. 7ft Lew's Mach Crush spinning combo with 8lb mono.
@@jpvernoutside3378 Kool Brother, THANKS for sharing and responding, appreciate it 🎣
LOVE it!!
It’s not old school it’s just the way it ought to be!
These guys did an awesome job! No practice, no FFS. Bags were same as any big tournament! Just proves that Tournament Angler’s catch fish!
With 140k$ bass boats, 250hp motors, maps, downscan and sidescan, trolling motors, dozens of rods, and thousands in tackle? The way it ought to be is making it a rich man’s sport
Great idea, I'll be using it in my basscat. The ultrexx is darn near 2 inches low. Thanks!!
Stack and glue a few together! Makes it sooo much better!
Academy also has their own series of H20x terminal tackle worth considering. I saw a huge pack of ewg hooks in the store for like 3-4 bucks. That's nuts.
Yes ! A lot of their baits are great! VMC Hooks on them! Thanks for watching!
Hey bro It’s Mouse
Is this Rocky Mtn Georgia?
Yes it is!
I caught what I thought was a spot smallmouth hybrid marked up just like a spot with a small brown patch at Chickamauga. Put it in the live well to check the rules and pulled it out later it was completely brown. FYI if it has any brown at all it’s considered a smallmouth
I have caught some odd looking fish in Chick and Nick ! I just look, laugh and toss em back! I love fishing up there! Always fun!
Great video i have a question i saw your buddy had a crankbait chatterbait blade on the front of does it come like that
Not sure the name or brand. It’s an odd almost jerk bait shape with a blade similar to chatter bait thing he picked up somewhere. It did catch some fish but the crank baits dominated by far. I threw an actual 1/8 oz chatterbait, no skirt and small swim bait. It also caught a few fish but wasn’t spectacular.
@@t_mcguireoutdoors thanks 😊
It is called an ALIVE CHATTER. My custom bait guy David at Greene’s Custom lures painted if, and a couple more for me. It was bought from an online blank bait store. We find random, clear baits like that and test them out. So far it is a white bass killer. Schooling Spotted bass and hybrid like it too. Very interesting little bait but I can’t find anymore.
@@jpvernoutside3378 thanks
Looks like fun time! I haven’t fished for whites (on purpose at least haha) since many many yrs ago when they would run up the hooch! Great memories though!
We have plenty to share in the Coosa at Al / Ga line! Come on! Lol
Deep six the intro noise ah muic
Suggestions?

The jerkbait ghost minnow is killer in winter 💪💪💪💪
Yes sir it is!!!
Thank you very much for the information you just gave me a great idea with that green pumpkin blue color
Will you post the manufacturer
There are multiple manufacturers. I’ll get the proper info and add it to description today sometime.
Lucky Craft - Ghost Minnow Xcite - Blushing Shad
Don't be scared of muddy water. A lot easier to get bites in dirtier water this time of year.
Absolutely! (It saved my butt !)
You are fishing too many places I recognize to win man, good job in that muddy water. Sometimes you just have to grind it out.
A lot of anglers in North Houston aren’t fans of Milliken. I’ve never heard anything nice about him. I have never meet him personally, but I’d like to. I love his videos, he does t seem like a dick. Much respect, from WILLIS,TX
Dang catching them muddy water bass 🤙🏼
You’re welcome to go anytime!
@@t_mcguireoutdoors I might have to take you up on that
You're a good man Tim.
Careful there bro....my rig has soooo many scars from fishin' the hard to get to places....can't remember how many transducers on Heath Lake....Enjoy my friend....
I would not use a googan Squad bait if you gave it to me all they do is pray on young kids their baits are more expensive you can get cheaper baits the same exact bait cheaper than the Google bait that works just as good when they were young they were really good at things and having a good time now it's all about the almighty dollar and I really don't appreciate him being so expensive and making kids think that those are the best baits on the market when there's cheaper baits exactly the same that these kids can use and get out and go fishing
S Chick creek current seam on Nick is a great place to load up on whites....
Really enjoy your channel, always entertaining. P. McGuire here from north Alabama
oreange and brown jigs I go for, but don't even own many other red baits.. Maybe I'm missing out on something???
They Bite Red! Js
I started fishing red crankbaits back in the 90’s with the old cotton cordell super spot’s Rayburn red . Use red year around. Worms, crankbaits, chatterbaits work in stained to clear water.
I believe they work year round also. I think it’s just “trendy” to use them in cold water month! Thanks for watching & commenting!
I am going to put away every other color crankbait and only throw red and orange colored ones all year
It may just work! Lol
Grown men creating drama over some damn fishing lures. Guess what? If the fish are hungry, you can attach a hook to a cork or bottle cap and they'll bite.
Amen! A Beer tab & treble hook will work! (Hmmm ….. gives me a video idea! lol)
What size nail do you use? Looking to get about 1/16 oz. In weight.
1” panel board ring shanked panel board nails. I’m not sure of the actual weight of a single nail. (But…they work rather well!)
