Recreating the VIRAL fancy cakes! *DIY*
Heyy babes!
Today we are attempting to recreate the VIRAL fancy IG cakes that have been absolutely flooding my social media feed!
You will need:
🎂 cake of choice from the store (or make your own!)
🎂 icing pouch + tips for swirls
🎂 cake decorating gems (got mine from Bulk Barn)
🎂 food coloring of choice
Icing recipe:
Ingredients:
• 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks or
½ pound), softened (but not melted!)
• 3-4 cups confectioners (powdered) sugar
• ¼ teaspoon table salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• Up to 4 tablespoons heavy cream, half and half, or milk (heavy cream is best)
Instructions:
Beat the butter first then add the other ingredients and once everything is blended and has the icing texture, add your food coloring!
