Performed @ LWHS auditorium during the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Recital
I started learning this solo in late December after finally deciding a second solo to work on. This was the only timpani solo that stuck out to me because of its excitement and recurring theme. It’s been a challenge learning a piece that has opened my eyes to the world of timpani music, but I am thankful to be learning new things every step of the way.
I had to splice a few clips together because this wasn’t recorded on my phone, but it turned out great! Little hello moto surprise during the performance 😂

Performed @ LWHS auditorium during the UIL State Solo and Ensemble Recital (there was a lot of performers!) After UIL Region, I was convinced to switch solos and I am so glad that I did because this solo is so fun and beautifully written.
