I had forgotten about this since I was 15 years old when the first one happened? At the time, I thought this was weird because from like 1994 - 2001, I played outside often along with watching Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon on the regular! To me, it felt...unnecessary? However, I do recall kids slightly younger than me starting to 'stay in' more due to the introduction of online gaming & the internet being a lot more present in the homes. Also, 'fat shaming' and 'playing video games all day' was REALLY shamed during that time so I guess the tides were just starting to change several years later?

I was so pissed when they did that But It also also teaches us to just go outside and do active luckily I was hyper active kid at the time I was so pissed but I switch to cartoon network or Disney Channel but I like I understand If some kids can't go outside cause they live in dangerous area's I genuinely feel bad for them from the bottom of my heart

This video made me so nostalgic!! I joined the fandom in May 2016 and enjoyed the Summer of Steven and all the next Steven Bombs. I remember the hype, the leaks, the memes ✨ It was awesome!! I was a big believer of the RQ = Pink theory and I was so glad when it became canon. And I actually liked the Bloodstone episode, I felt like it was an interesting take on cultural appropriation. Steven Universe still is my favorite cartoon to this day. Thanks for this amazing video!!

Nick actually used to tell their viewers to "go outside, it's summer" before reruns of Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy all the way back in 2000. This actually lead people to think that Nickleodeon sabotaged their own shows to get less ratings, giving them a reason to remove these shows off the schedule.

This movie (or any Disney movie for that matter) doesn’t have to be perfect. As long as people get enjoyment out of it, that’s what really matters.
