Its a weird spot right there on secret creek. It can give you a decent amount of notning at all. Nice promo for Vic's adventure gold day at Cresswick too. Youve just reminded me that i need to vet some stickers made up
It was just good to get out and meet Luke and Andy little bit of gold was a bonus really.

@@anothergoldprospector that's the plan. Sky is opening up tomorrow and I can hopefully get out once or twice while we're still in FNQ. Next stop is gold coast so shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I scored the man flu around the same time. It was a particularly nasty one. Its nice to know there are other gentlemen prospectors around that dont feel the need to play in another mans hole 😂 They are lucky, most wouldn't have left it. Id be inclined to think that they need a bigger pump or better spray bars, but im no Freddy Dodge. Cheers for the video

yeah it was pretty garbage really the bucket of cons made it better than what it was. Yeah were just GoldCoast for the week, Mrs is working up there so me and the Kid tag along for free accom and car hire hahaha
battery went flat and only found 7 minutes of footage worth showing How many minutes went on the cutting room floor ?
I posted every minute I filmed, digging in cracks and finding nothing is not "footage worth showing" IMO In the last vid you said I needed to show footage of my panning technique and this video its not worth watching either my panning is terrible or you are very hard to please Mo.
Prospector etiquette - was just getting into it then it was over. Was that all there is ? Do people not want to know more about where to park your car or how to greet a stranger at the creek ? This is simply my current thought and not constructive idea. Less segments but longer segments. Enlightening rather than Educating.
i like to be straight to the point with podcasts trying to avoid dribbling on and putting out hour-plus-long episodes, but it is my favourite segment and maybe there could be a full episode on prospector etiquette going forward.

AHA - Well the new camera explains it. I was wondering about what a remarkably detailed photography happening here - just like a bought one. Well done , even flyshit looks wonderful now. In fact , I don't mind seeing an empty pan. If only I wasn't such a tightarse , I'ld get me one of them. Just for curiosity , what make and model have you purchased so I may do some research , especially if only BMW drivers can afford them.
Its a GoPro Hero 9 so not brand new I picked it up from a friend used 3 times with a bunch of accessories for $350 new i think about $500 ish

Definitely lose the lay flat hose. I know that spot, lol.😂 It looked like you had a leak near the pump. I'd also try a different spray bar. Something that is spraying water up the hopper. I'd tried plenty of different ones & as good as that one is. I think unless you're using a petrol pump it will definitely reduce water flow. If it's catching gold & loss is at a minimum the mat should be fine. Only change when it doesn't work. Or you will end up like me, with 20 mats.
Yeah the lay flat is temp and the pump has a over pressure outlet I reduced it from 50mm to 38mm so it pumps more water than the hose/fittings can handle, the spray bar does both sides and back up the hopper, I don't think the mats will take much volume before logging I have used moss with expanded mesh and that seems to go well. A ridged hose is going to make a big difference to the amount of water coming out of the spray bars I think.
@anothergoldprospector Just don't use the grey hose. You need to get the black one. Grey is strong but very stiff. Every bend in the spraybar will also drop the flow.
Kmart has selfie/tripod sticks for your phone. Also, what app do you use for editing your vids?
