This is about 50% faster than he plays it on his excellent CD, and consequently sounds only half as good! It's such a shame, because the CD is as near to 'Scarlatti perfection' as one could ever wish to hear.

I realize that sometimes the pianist says this is an encore, the audience wants fireworks so let's give them fireworks; even the likes of Argerich do it, but usually the performer is capable of a more musical interpretation.
