I just now did it, thanks for posting this vid, it really helped my strategy, I figured out what I did wrong. I was able to do it without Alter Myunfa and keeping Alter Shion in the whole time. Keep up the good work!

You actually need Helena and galliard both in the party for the pledge. I beat him 4 turns straight and it still killed me, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I didn't use Alter Myunfa in my team though, I just left Alter Shion in the whole time.

Finally did this! What a horrible boss :( The strategy in the video is sound, but it takes too many hours to kill Lavog, especially given his sextuplity (α, β, γ, δ, ε and crystalline)

I just got AS Parisa from the last Whispers of Time drop, so this is good timing. This showcase inspired me to come up with some of my own ideas. I had trouble vs Shadow of the Swordsman, but finally beat him thanks to this video. I didn't have Alter Myunfa or Alter Tsukiha, so I used AS Nona and Aisha respectively instead. It took longer than 5 turns (more like 10) for me, but Iphi + AS Nona + Tetra gave me a lot of survivabillity. I really like seeing those big damage numbers with Con Fuoco's EoT nuke.

I tried the same sequence. It works until turn 3. On turn 3 I do less damage (40% compared to 80% in the video. So desperartion on turn 4 does not kill the instance of the boss. My left arm is only 99015 HP, not 95657 like in the video (but it is max level 80). All other stats are the same mmm. Nearly finished the boss, got killed on move 15, with boss (last instance) having something like 5% HP. Will try more later, but definitely damage seems different a bit.

Actually Bung, I have a few alterations/suggestions i can suggest cause i also have Xianhua via Stellar too. Using Krervo & Helena also works for grasta holders. Both of them are staff users, so they brilliantly help alot. Not completely sure in using Rosetta AS in that squad. but i haven't been disappointed yet.
