Hi, Jamie, I just wanted to say that colour is my jam. You touched on the use of grey and how colours look different next to the grey. Years ago, I did floristry. At the shop where I worked, we wrapped the bouquets in coloured tissue paper and cellophane. The bouquets with grey tissue paper always sold the quickest. Grey is a clever colour. You see, it's silent. Yes, that's right. You don't always notice it. Grey enables other colours to speak a different language. What do I mean? Think of bright pink and purple together. That's a girly combination. Now add grey, and it's more sophisticated and not so girly. Grey and lime green is very chic, almost French. The grey doesn't clash or constrain the other colours, but the colours you use will appear different due to the effect of the grey. I think the use of the straight strips die is genius.

I have always loved Sues dies and stamps and embossing folder. I was collecting full sets. But alas in New Zealand it is hard to find a supplier and freight from the UK is much for me. Many thanks from Annamieke in New Zealand

I thank you for this tutorial! I had to use what I had. I didnt have the crystal tints so I used gallery glass paint. It worked amazingly! Its not as shiny but I just added glossy accents and voila! Also, just clear embossed the stazon. It just wouldnt dry here in Texas!! It helped me stay in line a little better!
