WDBC Fettlers Shed Model Railway [HO/OO with a dual main line length of 45m] ~ Welcome to the WDBC Fettlers Shed HO/OO scale model railway located in the Hobby Shed [Rear] of the Church grounds of the Windsor District Baptist Church ~ 739 George St, South Windsor NSW.
All are welcome!
The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursday's 9am-1pm, and a hold an Open Day on the 3rd Saturday of the month 8am - 1pm.
If you’re a model train enthusiast, you’re going to love the WDBC Fettlers Shed. Bring along your model trains or just learn from others there.
The train room has just been expanded and now includes a N scale layout which from a scenery perspective looks great however the electricals are yet to be completed. Videos #57, #58, and #59 shows the N scale layout ~ with some power to the track we were able to get a train running.

104. WDBC Fettlers Shed HO/OO Layout Outside Track Inspection Camera Car Run Sat. 16/11/2024
Video 104 ~ [Select Highest Resolution ~ 1080p to view video] It's been a while since we've run the camera car around the Outside Track to check on its condition. Only the station track loops we missed out on.
A Time Code has been added in the Top Right of the video which can be used to reference anything you might pick up as you watch the foward looking view of the camera car.
The loco being used to push the camera car is a Auscision Models NR class NR55.
Please use the Time Code Top Right so we can send out the the maintenance crew to investigate.
The camera used on all our Driver's Cab type videos is the HawKeye Firefly Q6 4K FPV. It has great light levels and a digital menu of that of a Digital SLR camera. Footage normally recorded in 1080p60HD and rendered down to 1080p30HD. The Flat wagon is metal and camera footage is good even at high speeds.

Video 99 ~ Today we had the NMRA Australasian Region Division 7 visit us for their monthly meeting. It was a great turn up with those running trains both DC or DCC depending the power supply used. Only the outside track has DCC at the moment and is switchable either mode. The inside track is DC only. Lots of chat in the background so a music track was dubbed in. #wdbcfettlersshed #nmra

At Australian Modeller ~ This nice demo layout has a 3 aspect signal which work with a photo electric cell. They didn’t know what the electric circuit was as the layout was purchased as is.

nice layout and a great variety of trains -will pay a visit when returning to Seven Hills internet shows open on Tuesday and Thursday from 9-13 website shows open on Tuesday from 9-13 and 3rd Saturday from 9-13 what about December 2024 and January 2025? thank you, best regards, Franz
