I love this man,he is the greatest!!!
We belong to that lucky generation who have really enjoyed great country music in our lives. RIP Waylon, who left this world too soon.
Yeah Waylon Almost Sunk Himself Into A Cesspool With The Cocaine!!! He His Wife And The Rest Of Us Wouldn’t Have Known Such Love 💕 & Talent Thank You Lord Jesus 🎼💯%🥰✌🏼❣️❣️❣️🤔
Yes Indeed!! I'll keep 'em coming!

My hero!
Just when I think I’ve heard them all, the mighty UA-cam delivers! Thank you OP for uploading this… I’ve hit the jackpot today on live Waylon. Time to turn it up! Have a super day if you’re reading this!
🤍✨ a friend sent me here for the love of Waylon 🎉
The cocaine had completely depleted his voice. Glad he got clean and got his voice back.
“got my first guitar at fourteen I finally passed forty and still wearing jeans” -pure gold.
Don Williams Sang That Song 🎶 Too ❣️❣️❣️😘🥰💯%
Awww Waylon and Jessi loved each other so much. What a wonderful kind of love. ❤❤❤
Listen to that guitar, goes right to the soul whoop whoop!!
He took ( rose of paradise all the way to #1 )so many others had covered it and never came close!!!! I love it❤
Who was singing there ain’t no good chain gang with Waylon?? Kinda sounded like Merle Kilgore at times but I’m not sure! Him & Waylon sounded good together thgh! 🤠🤠
Johnny cash ❤
Brings back memories of high school of me and another guy called Zoren who is now deceased. We used to play this song over and over on cassette tape. I keep crying every time I hear this song, brings back memories of old times.
This is right before he got clean from coke. You can tell his voice worn out from all the years of hard living. Luckily he got clean and stayed clean the rest of his life and got his voice back. Much love and respect for Waylon
I was wondering bout that.
An outlaw singing a pop song, how unique.
Even sick he sounds better than anyone out here nowadays.
He does a lot of talking with that Guitar
Agreed ❤
I lived in Austin for many years
Love both of them 🥰
Love it x
I guess I'm wrong all the men I have wanted are married and gone I guess I will be alone forever

I'm 64 and just discovering the greatness of Waylon
It's never too late!😁
318 Dodge is right. Moon during these years was a great added addition. But Old Hoss never disappoints! Love all you Waylon fans!
Thanks for sharing…didn’t matter how smashed he got he could always sing and play as he was a natural outlaw 💕💕🥃🎸🪕

When Waylon covers your song.....it's not yours anymore. One of the absolute very best
😅😂😂😂 yea mark, it then just became Waylon Jennings song lol he did that to several songs of other artists...
Amen to that ❤
Artists like Waylon Jennings and The Marshall Tucker Band only come once in a lifetime
Waylon always had a real tight BAND.Afterall he had been a Session man himself back as early a Buddy Holly DAYS-
John Jeffrey - Just a tiny correction! I don't think Waylon was ever truly a "session" man. I believe the only time he backed up anyone was when he played bass for Buddy Holly during that ill-fated Winter Dance party tour in 1959, but that was only because Holly & the Crickets were in the middle of some sort of dispute, and they had to back out of the tour almost at the last minute, so Holly had to find replacement musicians. Waylon & Buddy Holly were good friends, and Holly was mentoring Waylon, trying to help him get his career started. He thought enough of Waylon that, just prior to the deadly tour, Buddy had produced & payed for the recording session - even flying in tenor sax player King Curtis to contribute to the recording - that culminated in the production of Waylon's very first single, a nifty little song called "Jolie Blon." (It went nowhere, chart wise, but it was a start). When the Crickets backed out of the tour, Buddy came to Waylon to hire him as one of the Cricket replacements - just for that one tour. Buddy came by to see him, tossed him a bass guitar (an instrument Waylon had never played in his life) and told him to learn the songs to be played on the tour, which was to begin in just a few weeks. Waylon did learn the songs with remarkable speed, and a short time later, they all embarked on the Winter Dance Party tour of the frigid upper Midwest. To the best of my knowledge, that was the only time Waylon ever played backup for any other musician, except perhaps as a one-off favor. That's the way Waylon tells it in his autobiography and in various other places! I'm so glad you're a fan of Waylon Jennings' music! He was a unique & remarkable talent and a fascinating man.
Claire by Gilbert O’Sullivan
A great Billy Joe shaver song sung by the original outlaw r I p Waylon and Bill joe
He looks like he’s been up for days, only staying animated by pills and coke. He was the wild eyed crazy outlaw once he got off drugs. He was a better artist for it.
Such a delightful tune. Light shows his sweetside. Keep playin it
Amazing haven’t heard this live recording before !
